I've got lotsa games, but the only game I've ever bothered getting any DLC for was Burny Pee, because it's free. Oh, and the map pack for CoD4.

I don't really notice when DLC comes out, because I never boot up these old games - so what I'm asking it whether there's anything out there for mainstream games that would make it worth going back to them? Particularly campaign updates and the like.

Not that I'll do anything until Fallout3 is done, but still.

Cheers, m'dears!

Army of Two's DLC packs a meaty wallop.

I expect GTA IV's will be worth it, depending on the price. Erm...

Arse Effect's was worth the money at the reduced price, and for the kick in the pants it can give you towards the ally achievements. But for the full price, it wasn't really worth the 90 minutes or so it lasts.

The Test Drive Unlimited car packs were diverting fun, and I didn't regret them back when I played it all the time.

Crackdown's DLC doesn't seem like value for money, given you get much of the stuff in the free version anyway.

Well, I'm assuming it's going to cost some. They might 'do a Criterion', but I'm sceptical.

They bloody well ought to, given how few missions are in this last one.

Previous games I've paid less for and had far longer out of, particularly San An.

If it's an extra island and an extra set of missions and vehicles, I'd happily pay 800 points for it. If it's just a few new missions then I probably wouldn't bother unless it was free.

I assume you're referring more towards retail games but the DLC for Boom Boom Rocket is good - some free extra tracks and it also adds guitar controller compatibility.

It would also help if we knew what games you had.

DLC I've bought:

GRAW1/2 - extra maps, extra co-op missions. The GRAW games have fantastic co-op missions and I got a lot of extra play out of the DLC. No single player value here though.

Crackdown - worth it for the road races and the Agency Buggy but the free DLC is good also.

Gripshift - a few extra modes and some more multiplayer tracks. Worthwhile.

Mad Tracks - some decent extra games. They could have fixed the awful lobby system though.

It's an XBLA game but the N+ level packs are good.

Especially the 'easy' one. I sat down and completed it in two sitting in about 2 or 3 hours. But for 150 points it was super.

Yep, I think one's free and the other two are 200 points each. Definitely worth it as I still crack it open every now and again.
