What was special about this date?

That's right... the forum had 49 people online at one time! This is the record.

So, it has been bugging me for some time.. why this date? and why so many people? I've been keeping an eye on the count on the board index page and the most I've seen is in the mid twenties.

I'd like to think that we will beat this number one day. I've no doubt I shall keep you all up to date!

I like numbers.

Well, I don't quite know who you're referring to, but I think threads like that are best left alone. I know it was unwittingly dredged up because of a genuine question, but it's hardly a shining example of excellence.
