We watched the pilot of The Deuce last night. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4998350/ Set in New York in the early 70s it's very atmospheric and looks superb. I'm not sure where the story is going other than plenty of crime, drugs and prostitution, but it's worth a look if you like that kind of thing. |

The second season of "The Last Kingdom" was fantastic, and recommended for everyone with a passing interest with swords, vikings and so on. In many places feels more authentic than Vikings and the girl who plays Aethelfled is the prettiest thing on TV. I watched the first episode of The Mist on Netflix last night. I was alright, certainly ramped up towards the end. As there's a lot of other stuff to get watched I'm not sure if it's worth continuing. What does the Hivemind perceive? |
