Does anyone watch the Training Day show (follows on from the film of the same name)?

Started it last night and I fell asleep half way through (it was 9.30  ) when I woke up in time for the credits my wife say she didn't like it.

What little I watched I thought was good!

Better Call Saul Season 3 on Netflix 11 April.

That's excellent news, and also that Jonathon Banks is still alive as he doesn't always look a picture of health.

Why do we have these terrible 'general purpose' threads? It makes following any particular 'thing' incredibly fiddly and completely breaks up the narrative for recurring seasons like Better Call Saul.

For anyone who watched The Good Wife, a spin off had recently started called The Good Fight. Seems alright so far. Has Diane from the original series and Ygritte from GoT.

The Leftovers is back, which is the best antidote to the walking dead. Instead of a show where nothing happens, we have a show where everything can happen, and usually does.

Watched the Louis CK special on Netflix last night, thought it was very funny although apparently it's not of his best sets, took a little while to get going and started with what was probably the weakest material of the 75 minutes.

Properly had me LOL-ing by the end though.

I thought it was pretty good too. Better than the Kevin Hart and Amy Schumer ones - I turned both those off after ten minutes.

It wasn't a cross-over episode though, it was an "actor plays a character in a TV episode" episode.

And it's because Nathan Fillion plays the same character in everything from Santa Clarita Diet, to Castle to Firefly to Dr Horrible to Brooklyn Nine Nine.

He's great.

Also: current season of Modern Family where he's very funny. The only thing I can think of him in where he didn't just play Nathan Fillion was Buffy, which was the first thing I saw him in. Even in that version of Much Ado About Nothing he still somehow played Nathan Fillion.

Brooklyn Nine Nine was good. Nathan Fillion was the least memorable part of it though, mainly cause I couldn't remember if the Hollywood exec was Cage or Fish from Ally McBeal...

But the best bit was Boyle & Holt enunciating. That was bloody hilarious.

Boyle is such a good character as this snivelling Jake kiss ass but they took the sparkle off him a bit when they tried to broaden his character by adding traits such as his obsession with weird foods and the whole Nicolarggggge rubbish.

Um... No..?

He's a character from Bojack Horseman whose catchphrase is "what is this, a crossover episode?" What with Bojack and him both being sitcom stars.

I avoided Fargo the TV series for ages because I love the film so much and thought it was going to be a crappy remake, but I was an idiot because it's brilliant. Each season is set in a different time period but linked to the movie and each other. If you like the film then I recommend it highly!
