Does anyone watch Sons of Anarchy?

I'm currently ploughing through them as my commute TV show, but I had a long break before continuing, mainly due to the awful middle of the third season that I couldn't face.



I've forced myself to continue and it has picked up towards the end and is getting good again. Seasons 1 and 2 were great.
Should I continue with Season 4, it can't be worse than Season 3 can it? Does it get back to the original quality levels?

Grim... mentioned it on here somewhere, I think he liked it, I liked it, but I thought the characters were lazily written, very stereotypical.

If they make more I think I would watch (the ending of the episode was well worth the wait) a few to see where it went.

But I would hope the characters were a bit less one dimensional.

Aye, the Irish dude was awful and I agree the writing was lazy.
I'd watch it again though, as beside all that it was interesting.

Surprise Craster scale moment too, it's filmed in the way of all the other primetime shows, so that was unexpected.

Cosmos.

We are more than a bit concerned with the Benihana egg trick called for in the script. I’ve tried it and can only get it 1 out of 4 tries, and I’ve seen Benihana chefs flub the manoeuver when they have an entire grill as target. Mads has to crack his eggs into a 8-inch diameter skillet. The props Master calls his guy. The Production Manager calls in his guy. I call my guy. On the morning of the shoot we have 8 dozen eggs and 3 Japanese chefs with their hands made up to be hand doubles.

I guess I don’t have to tell you that when Mads arrives on set, I briefly describe the egg trick to him whereupon he just tosses an egg up in the air and breaks it perfectly on the spatula. Did it. Unbelievable. I insist it was a lucky fluke but he does it again. I accuse him of practicing when I wasn’t looking but he laughs (as if he has time to practise egg-cracking between scenes) and confesses he was a juggler in his youth.

I highly recommend Silicon Valley. The pilot was excellent.

Is it any good?

Yes we have watched 3 of the 6 episodes released and I'm enjoying it so far, it has Scully in it from the X-Files as well, must say she looks well!

She's in The Fall, too. She a bit of a goer in that.

I think Silicon Valley was alright, but I doubt I'll keep watching it.

Do I need to watch the film of Fargo before I can watch the series?

The first ep of Penny Dreadful found it's way onto my tv tonight, and half way through its damn good. A strange mix of various gothic literary characters and wierd shit happening. Plenty of well known actors too.

Almost Human has been cancelled after one season

My, um, "TV guide" says it's not on until May

My usual torrent site (*)'tv guide' had a link for it this morning and on Berties review I clicked the button.

Allegedly the network leaked the pilot episode. I'm not really sure how that works, how can the legitimate owner releasing something ever be called a leak?

If they don't acknowledge the leak as official, I guess
