I thought it was okay. Had it not been for the recommends here I would definitely have turned off in the first five minutes, which were terrible, and made the clips of the Robocop remake look like Citizen Kane.

It just survived until the new android partner came in, and then it got better. The dialogue is still a bit clunky and the formula is insanely formulaic, but there's some potential. Will watch another episode or two.

Bitten... Show about a (lady) Werewolf, this is a rare thing to happen in the world of the show as women don't survive the "first change" by all accounts

She is living in the city trying to have a normal life but is called back to her pack when they have issue

Found the show a bit slow but ok, might have binned it off after the first episode, but as there is not a lot of US TV due to Super bowl and the Winter Olympics, I watched a couple more and quite liked it.

Yes!

I wanted to like it, I really did, but it was full of stereotypes!

I might watch more if they make more, but I didn't feel that impressed.

In my humble opinion, it's the best of all the Wires. That quality is maintained throughout seasons 3 and 4, though less so in 5. But in 2, I think I just loved that side of Baltimore. Quite fancied the life of a stevedore after that.

I wouldn't even watch the fifth if I had the chance again. A real disappointment after the high quality that preceded it.

It was a smudge, definitely. When the fifth came out I went to the Wire Weekender at the Curzon, where they premiered the whole of 5 back to back. The highlight, aside from my mate getting Dominic West to sign her bottle of Jamesons, was hearing the collective intake of breath of 100 or so people

Other than that, it was very disappointing. And smelly. Cinemas should not be inhabited for that length of time.

Keeping up with the same sitcoms:

Modern Family is just incredibly consistent. Always funny, charming and smart.

New Girl is also quite good. I never gave much importance to it in the first season but it started to become quite funny.

How i met your mother. It's the Anti-Modern Family, as it's the least consistent sitcom since season 5 or so. Some good episodes while others are annoying. Specially the ones where punch magnet Ted becomes all emo

Big Bang Theory - I still watch because my wife likes it, but it gets worse and worse. There's no subtlety in anything whatsoever. And the fact that they made the indian guy all gay all of sudden really gets to my nerves.

Quite enjoying The Following again, it's just really good fun. James Purefoy's performance as the completely unhinged killer is consistently amusing, Kevin Bacon is pretty decent in it too.

Series 6 was fairly poor, but series 7 (hopefully the last one) has been back on form.

You're the nirjehenenenengegenenenege of telly. TBBT gets funnier and funnier. And the fact you think they made Kuthrapali "all gay all of a sudden" suggest you haven't been paying attention since sometime in series 2.

The show is already on Season 9. And yes, this is the last one

Given the circunstances, i'll accept that as a compliment. There are other things that annoy me in The Big Bang Theory.

- There's always a pause after the jokes for the "laughing track" to kick in. Yes, i know the show is played live and it's not really a laughing track, but it takes away much from the jokes. In the rare ocasion they're funny.

- Every joke is so completely obvious and it's possible to anticipate them a mile away. They always explore the same aspects from the characters. Yes, i know Sheldon is asexual and interprets everything literally. I also know that Howard's mom is fat and Farah Fowler was miserable in high school for beiing ugly and nerd. And so on

I think it has gone from affectionately mocking <grits teeth> "nerd culture" to downright attacking it. Penny was the eyes, ears and voice of the sympathetic audience, and I think that role shifted too much. Now we laugh at them, not with them.

Yes, Bernadette is incredibly cute. For all the failings the show has, she isn't one.

And Modern Family is so full of awesome gags. I specially like the ones involving Haley's stupidity:

Mitchell's Boss: "Oh my god, look at your eyes!"

Haley: "I really can't"

That was one of the ones I was thinking about, and it being closely followed by Lily answering the phone was awesome:

Lily: "Daddy's phone."

...

Lily: "No, you sound like a little girl!"
