Properly had me LOL-ing by the end though.

I thought it was pretty good too. Better than the Kevin Hart and Amy Schumer ones - I turned both those off after ten minutes.

It wasn't a cross-over episode though, it was an "actor plays a character in a TV episode" episode.

And it's because Nathan Fillion plays the same character in everything from Santa Clarita Diet, to Castle to Firefly to Dr Horrible to Brooklyn Nine Nine.

He's great.

Also: current season of Modern Family where he's very funny. The only thing I can think of him in where he didn't just play Nathan Fillion was Buffy, which was the first thing I saw him in. Even in that version of Much Ado About Nothing he still somehow played Nathan Fillion.

Brooklyn Nine Nine was good. Nathan Fillion was the least memorable part of it though, mainly cause I couldn't remember if the Hollywood exec was Cage or Fish from Ally McBeal...

But the best bit was Boyle & Holt enunciating. That was bloody hilarious.

Boyle is such a good character as this snivelling Jake kiss ass but they took the sparkle off him a bit when they tried to broaden his character by adding traits such as his obsession with weird foods and the whole Nicolarggggge rubbish.

Um... No..?

He's a character from Bojack Horseman whose catchphrase is "what is this, a crossover episode?" What with Bojack and him both being sitcom stars.

Boyle's obsession with weird foods was literally one of the main traits he displayed in the very first episode.

I avoided Fargo the TV series for ages because I love the film so much and thought it was going to be a crappy remake, but I was an idiot because it's brilliant. Each season is set in a different time period but linked to the movie and each other. If you like the film then I recommend it highly!

I really liked it but I've read the book and so I've got no idea what I would have made of it all otherwise. There's inevitably a lot missing and it seems to move along at breakneck speed.

Never read American Gods because the premise sounded so stupid, but when it comes to TV Shows, my standards are lower, and i guess i'm falling to the hype, so i'm going to watch it tonight.

The third season of Fargo is keeping the high quality we're used to. McGregor is great on it, and the guy who plays is lawyer is going to be the Ed Harris of his generation (best supporting actor around). Too bad I don't even know his name even though he's everywhere. The actress who plays Nora Durst on the Leftovers is also on it, and she's fantastic as always.

Silicon Valley is still the funniest show on TV.

The Leftovers is even better/weirder than on season 2.

Better Call Saul - I love the Jimmy/Kim story line, but i'm not really into the Mike plot with the drug gangs. It's getting a bit boring actually.

I like Mike. I wish i can look as badass as him when i'll get to his age.

It's just there's not much overlapping between his and Saul's storyline right now. It seems like i'm watching two different shows.
