Allegedly the network leaked the pilot episode. I'm not really sure how that works, how can the legitimate owner releasing something ever be called a leak?

When I pressed the "go and look for it on the off chance" button on my TV guide it found it.

Releasing the pilot of a show into the wild is a great way to get publicity, IMO.

If they don't acknowledge the leak as official, I guess

Which means no one can claim the network leaked it. Someone who works for the network maybe, but that's not the same thing.

It's on Showtime's website to watch.
Don't know whether that's just as a response to a Yarrr copy floating about or the source of it though.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but The West Wing is pretty good.

Secrets and Lies has been recommend to me, there is one episode out in the US from ABC, but it’s based on an Australian show of the same name, there are 6 episodes (complete season) of this out.

Also Penny Dreadful looked interesting “In Penny Dreadful, some of literature's most famously terrifying characters - including Dr. Frankenstein and his creature, Dorian Gray and iconic figures from the novel Dracula - become embroiled in Victorian London”

Not watched either yet, but my wife and son are going to Dublin for a week today so plenty of TV catch up time this week!

Fargo's pilot was amazing. Billy Bob's character is kind of like a modern day Judge Holden. Can't wait to hear more of what he has to say

And Silicon Valley just keeps on giving. Last episode was hilarious.

Hannibal has been renewed for a 3rd season

http://variety.com/2014/tv/news/nbc-ren ... 201176411/

Only 2 episodes to go in the current season and the last 3 or 4 episodes have all been amazing.

Second last episode was one that I had to look away from the screen for but its all set for the finale this Friday

Book / Episode spoilers about the Vergers

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Mason has been way over the top in this but it interesting how they switched things around and when he started to go after hannibal I knew the face removing would turn up , and when Will woke up on top of the pig pen and only Winston was outside his house I knew where the other dogs would be and what they would be doing.

The end of season 1 ended in a long cliffhanger with Hanibal cleared and Will framed / imprisoned for the murders I have no idea what they are going to do for the finale this year apart from the bit they already showed at the very start of the season with the fight between Hannibal and Jack

Billie Piper (talking with an Irish accent, for no sensible reason) helped Penny Dreadful top the Craster Scale last week :luv:

Ohh , I've got the first 2 eps queued to watch - a lot of the more regular things I watch are finishing now (Elementary / Castle / Hannibal / Arrow ) so on the look out for other things to add (along with Season 2 of Orphan Black)

HALT AND CATCH FIRE

Episode 1 available now from the usual non-legal sources (it doesn't officially premier on TV until June 1st).

It's a US drama about the personal computing boom of the early 1980's from a US perspective (if you want something vaguely similar about the UK market from the same period, the rather good one-off "Micro Men" has you covered).

Hard to tell how this will pan out over a full series but I found this first episode to be well-acted & pretty entertaining / interesting.

Looking forward to watching episode 2 (in about 3 weeks...).

Just watched the last episode of S2 Hannibal

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Amazing ending - all of the characters bar one lying bleeding out and Hannibal walks off into the rain

I really thought the final meal would have gone on longer and that it would be revealed that part of what they were eating was Jacks wife.

Part of an interview with Bryan Fuller about what he sees for Season 3

One point from that

Yes - I was sitting in shock while the credits rolled :-)

That's the opening scene of Season 3 and we wont find out the fate of anyone else until the second episode.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
About the only person I'm sure will still be okay is Will - everyone else could potentially be gone.

That's also a very bold 'end' if they were not renewed for Season 3

Continues to be excellent. Hasn't had a bad episode yet (touch wood).

Quite enjoying the new series of 24, it's as daft as ever. I cannot take Melchett seriously as the PM, though, just wish he would go "Baaah!" and get it over with.

Indeed. I was also amused at Seinfeld playing a very douchy version of himself.

I'm not so convinced about the storyline of the Hungarian neighbor though.
