Yep, a reduced run, though they've typically been a full hour long.

Yep, completely done and over. I'll be watching the last episode tonight and mourning it's passing.

Constantine is pretty good. What is his accent meant to be, though?

Also, the new Mondeo looks lovely.

Wedding Band was great.

I've started watching Southland, its an old show, 5 seasons and now finished. Ran from 2009 until 2013.

Its a Cop show based in LA, very good so far well worth a look.

The actor is Welsh, and if he's trying to hide that he's doing a bad job of it.

It's a bit, like... I dunno - simplified Welsh, or something.

The Constantine accent is all over the fucking map but I went in expecting that. I've only watched the first episode and, though it was a bit heavy-handed and hokey in places, I quite enjoyed it. Certainly enough to give the second episode a fair shake.

Much like the lead girl in Transformers 3, who as a well brought up girl from Devon has one of the most unconvincing English accents I've ever heard.

It's Swansea. He sounds a lot like (and looks a little like) the comedian Rhod Gilbert, which is confusing.

I agree, the first episode was a bit wincing in places but then really good in others. I think it'll probably find a groove. I'm sticking with it for now.

Yeah, me too. Borrowed from the local library... I read that, Misery, Pet Cemetery, Salems Lot, The Shining and Gerald's Game before I was 13. Gerald's Game is definitely not something a 12 year old child should be reading.

And people worry about kids playing Call of Duty!

I did the same, at my school library!

I read today that Christopher Nolan's brother, who's name I forget, is apparently developing a TV series for HBO based on Asimov's Foundation trilogy.

My wife has gone to see her parents until Sunday so home alone with loads of TV shows she doesn't really like to catch up on.

So settled on Arrow and started were I had left off at S02E16

Really getting good have around 12 more to go before I'm caught up!

Does anyone else watch Sons of Anarchy and think that, at times, it resembles a game of GTA?

"Hey Jax, I have something you gotta do. Go see this guy"

*goes to see guy*

"Hey guy I need something"
"I'm not giving you that thing until you go see this other guy and do this thing"

*goes to see other guy*

"Hey other guy, I'm here to do that thing"

*Jax does the thing*

"Hey guy, I've done that thing with the other guy. Where's that thing?"
"Here you go. Transport it to the first guy."

*wanted level increases*

"Oh no, the cops!*

Started to re-watch 'the Pacific'. Only one episode in but I'd forgotten how explict and uncompromising it was when it came to showing the nature of the Pacific war.

Started watching Salem, all about the Witch Trials with a bit of supernatural twist.

Looks ok so far although it was hard to get hold off, has been pulled from the NG so used BT to get it.

Ha, hadn't thought of it like that before, but it absolutely is.

The Problem of the Week structure is painfully transparent at times; the side-missions to the over-arcing plot's story quests. Though these filler bits are handled with varying degrees of imagination - the last ep I saw featured them breaking up a torture pron racket, and climaxed (there must be a better word)
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
with one of them urinating over a dead dude in a bath full of piss.
.

Stupid, but entertaining. Jaxx needs to wind his neck in and learn to chill the fuck out, though. So much bother.

Jax is a vile detestable protagonist.

Blah blah Jax is a nice guy and loves Tara blah blah cheated on her at least 3 times blah blah. I have lost all interest in his character. A hooker says to him at one point "I know you're a kind, decent guy. You said you'd help me and you were true to your word."

Erm... no. He's a mass murderer that doesn't deserve an ounce of sympathy. Honestly, he's killed so many people I'm amazed that Charming and the surrounding districts have anyone left in them. If SoA doesn't end with Jax in a pool of blood I'm going to be very facking upset.

It's a shame because Breaking Bad did the "good guy turned bad" so well that even in the darkest hour you still - sort of - rooted for the bad guy. Here, I want him dead. Now. I can't stand seeing his face on my telly.

The body count by season 7 (I'm up to episode 10 which, I think, is the latest) is so high that the programme is a characature of what it used to be.

I thought the season started off well much darker than normal, but I would agree with you now, its ridiculous. Wasn't aware it was the last season either.

One think I noticed last night watching the latest episode that made me laugh

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Jax was very concerned that child services would take his kids away after the eldest made allegations that his mother had hurt him. In any reality his kids would have been taken away from him years ago, he has done 2 or 3 terms in jail and been arrested numerous times and spent most of his kids life's killing people and selling guns!

Look at his range.

Though in google imaging him, I've realised with his slicked back hair they're perhaps trying to make him look more like Clay. Maybe.
