Well no, but if someone says "name two Buffy episodes", the answer is "Hush and Once More With Feeling". That's just..how it is, man.

Once More With Feeling is the one where Buffy dies, right?

Talking about preacher again. I really enjoyed it from the start but it's fair to say it starts slowly and really gets going halfway through the series when the narrative gears connect. Stick with it.

3 and a bit series into Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the quality is consistently high. I love it. But associate too much with some bits. Devito is superb.

Always Sunny pretty much just gets better and better.

Edit: I think the Skiing episode from the latest season is my favourite of them all.

Have we spoke about "Stranger things" in this thread? If so, I missed it.. But I didn't miss the actual programme!

The wife and I watched them all this weekend and it was brilliant.

I have finished Bojack Horseman so will be starting on Stranger Things or Mr Robot next, both of which are supposed to be very good. I'll probably flip a coin to make a choice.

I wish there was more Bojack Horseman though.

It's just twigged that Bojack Horseman's owl girlfriend is Lisa Kudrow.

Random observation: Bojack is the only animal person on the show who has no animal characteristics (except one throwaway line about a large appetite.) All the others do something relating to their animal nature, e.g. Mr Peanut Butter playing catch or Princess Caroline throwing around a ball of wrapping paper.

Hmm. There are some Dandy brushes in his bathroom and he got spooked by a flying plastic bag in the episode I'm watching, and he did extended trot when he ran in an early episode.

Didn't he neigh in the pilot, too?

There are loads of background sight gags, I bet I've missed hundreds.

One i just saw was a banner that said "Happy birthday Diane in a nice font".

Mr Robot is good. But Stranger Things is excellent.

I went for Stranger Things just because I prefer the premise and also because I like Netflix but I don't like Amazon (even though they're most likely as CORPORATE EVIL as each other I can't help but see Netflix as the plucky underdog).

Anyway, properly had me by the nadgers by the end of the first episode, and I'd have gone straight on for another except it was late and I had an offensively early start for work today.

Also, Winona Ryder is still very much in the 'yes' column, although her hands looked a bit older than her face. She also did splendid ACTING in this I thought and I believed that she was a significantly worried mother.

She gets better. I didn't like her to start in this, but thought she was great by the end, so by your metric you'll be stunned by her in this. happy watching.

Easier said than done. Netflix are huge.

Time Warner market cap - $61.2bn
Netflix market cap - $42.6bn

That's some real blue-sky thinking, they'd better touch base before they miss their window of opportunity.

Netflix runs largely on Amazon infrastructure already, so it might be a bit weird if they buy them.

Not watched it yet but Atlanta is getting very good reviews.

Was also surprised to see that Limitless has been cancelled :( Thought that was a good show, especially compared to some of the weaker stuff like Lucifer and Quantico which have been renewed.
