Basically, you can take pictures using your Live Vision camera or upload them to the web and then have the game create a character with your own face. So far I've done me and it looks really lifelike. I'm just doing Ange now (fnar).

It takes about ten minutes to generate it from two photos (front and side), and you have to place markers denoting where certain features are, but it's really easy to do. Also, at the bottom it has a percentage bar with amusing status updates like 'Recombinating Nucleic Acids' and 'Initializing Freckle Pipeline', which are quite amusing.

Every game where you can design your own characters should have this feature. *awaits inevitable 'Game X did this first' replies*

My Rainbow Six face was scary. Like some emo panda, melting.

You can do it in the demo of Facebreaker, too. Except it puts a tiny face on a huge hairless face, which looks very, very wrong.

Does the Game Boy Camera count for the 'BALL', 'DJ' and 'RUN RUN RUN' games?

Does Perfect Dark + Game Boy Camera count?

The feature was never released for Perfect Dark as Nintendo didn't want kids running around shooting their mates...

and because the gameboy camera was crap.

Exactly the same in fact, they're both VGA cameras.

I did it in Quake, but I suspect Wolfenstein was the first to make it possible.
