I wasn't really talking about how it appears on screen - though that has to be taken on board - but it seems a futile argument as everybody has their monitors calibrated differently I suspect. I tend to think in paint colours because I paint and mix colours in that analogue medium. I think running that image through any kind of colour picker will be meaningless as a definitive answer - to my painter's eye it looks like the very subtle coolness of the yellow is being caused by the greyness of the road/paving beneath it.

It's relevant to the point that I was making (being that even a tiny amount of one colour in another colour can shift the perception of that colour to a surprising degree.)

Particularly the primary ones - yellow being the most readily effected in my experience.

There's a Ford Mondeo that drives around Shrewsbury in that colour, with a chequered flag vinyl sticker up each side.

It's yellow.

Set it on fire. Immediately.

The only cars that are allowed to be yellow are Ferraris and Lambos.

I think that looks alright.
And yellow, obv.

It is bright banana yellow.

And Lotuses/Lotii. Especially the Elan M100, the Elise S2 and the Exige S2. The Esprit doesn't look too bad in yellow either.

That's a reasonable statistical spread for colour blindness, yes.

There isn't a single thread on this board that doesn't need more burttank.

This is not a meaningful life. Practicing law, drinking scotch at nine o'clock in the morning. Nine o'clock scotch is meaningful, but practicing law, making money, settling petty disputes...

I had eighteen bottles of whiskey in the cellar, and my wife insisted I empty the contents of each bottle down the sink, or else. After careful consideration, I reluctantly agreed and finally proceeded with the unpleasant task. Then, I corked the sink with the glass, bottled the drink and drank the pour. When I had everything emptied, I steadied the house with one hand, counted the glasses, corks, bottles, and sinks with the other, which were twenty-nine, and as the houses came by I counted them again, and finally I had all the houses in one bottle, which I drank.
