1 - I would stand for election but I simply don't have the time. I have definite views on moderation, and one of those views is that moderation involves moderating individual posts and not simply locking threads. The thread lock problem is a cultural thing that has carried over from WoS and simply is not on. If people want to have a debate, why should some people ruin it for everyone else? Other forums manage moderation at post level without destroying all the discussion.

2 - People need to be able to debate without taking so much offence. Look, this woman went to The Sun for publicity and even had her photo taken by a Sun photographer. Over the past few weeks I've been doing work with people with real problems. Domestic violence victims, heroin addicts, dying kids. A woman who rings up the Sun because she's been fined for eating for over 90 minutes is fair game for abit of debate, and dare I say it, fun? Personally I didn't post the link because she was (large - Ed), I posted it because of the sheer stupidity of advertising the fact you eat that much KFC per week in a national tabloid. What did she expect?
