I've just gone on to a pay-monthly contract with Orange (no minimum term, £15 a month for unlimited* texts and 200 minutes, fact fans) and he said they could do Orange broadband for free with that too.

Is it any good?

No.

Avoid, even if you have to saw your arm off to get away, their average customer satisfaction last I checked was 1.5/10.

Out of interest, what do people reckon to O2 Broadband? I've just gone over to them myself and they seem pretty damn good. That said, I have just come from Virgin Media Broadband and a kick in the nuts every time I switch my PC on would be preferable to the level of service I used to get with them.

Your failure to put your mobile number on facebook has ruined a perfectly good gag opportunity.

I hope you're happy.

They are reputed to be excellent, as are Be (O2 bought Be ages ago and they run both branded ISPs off most of the same backend stuff).

:this: My mate had them for a while, and it took months for them to release his line after he'd cancelled.

Be have been constantly fab. They're quick and very quick to respond on their own forums when there's issues.

That's handy then as I told them to stuff off.

:this: Except they did it to two of my friends, and they only cancelled because Orange cut them off for downloading too much. Note that Orange a) didn't notify either of them that they were downloading too much, or b) define exactly how much too much was on their unlimited download service.
