They're on the right hand side of the screen when you read e-mails, and the topics are generally based upon the content of the e-mails themselves. There are no adverts in the mail you send.

I don't get any adverts on Gmail. I don't run a adblocker (as I use Chrome to view my Gmail).

Grim... bought all the AdWords credits for every single word he's likely to use. Every time he visits GMail, the right pane is just one big banner ad saying 'GRIM... IS AWESOMES'.

Nope - there is a space to the right of the mail, but no adwords in it.

Often it takes a few seconds for them to decipher your handwriting before appearing.

That means that they can't match any adverts to that email. This usually happens with me when the email is offensive. Are all your emails offensive?
