So who's getting this then? Also, anyone tempted by this monstrosity for 130 bones?

Without a doubt. But surely half a 360 would be more useful than one of those?

You could cut the 360 in twain with the Lancer.

and speaking about the game, anyone thought GOW 1 was any good?. Past the 1st 2 levels everything is the same. I got bored before the end (and it seems like a short game btw)

Gears of War was pretty good, really.

I'll certainly be checking out Gears 2.

I need BezzieFun with it though.

The first one never really clicked with me. I played about half the game in co-op with DBSnappa, and enjoyed that, but never felt any compulsion to play it single player at all.

At the risk of repeating what everyone has already said, Gears of War is a fantastic co-op game, but a very average single player game. It's just so clearly designed for two people to play that you can't help but feel lonely playing it by yourself.

On an unrelated note, the entire "I don't like the art direction" crowd do annoy me for seemingly missing the point entirely. Did they moan "it's too brown/gray" while watching James Cameron's Aliens?

So yeah, I'll certainly be picking up the sequel, but I'll be surprised/impressed if me+1 have any more fun with it than the first.

can this be the official confirmation that gears of war one(the first one) was a decent game mainly in co-op that really doesnt deserve all the game of the years and 10 out of 10s just because it made the colours brown and grey look pretty mainly because fallout 3 seems to have out done that which means its at least scores 7 out of 10 before gameplay. lost my phone, fucking shit, not insured, worth similar to a pretty big shed shit shit mother fucker more moaning kinda getting used to it, i could get a free shit phone, a better camera cos it was average at best and a larger storage mp3 player because 8gb is for people that dont like music.

oh and fuck me thats 200 quid i havent got. shit fuck cunt sorry but cunt is deserved, if some nice fellow gives me the phone back them woohoo.
but Ive barred it and on doing so cant see the benefit. they cant locate, yeah right, no fucker can phone off it now, hello?! and also i get a lovely sim card for that phone i dont havem also it cosrs a fucking bomb, least i can cancel me internet since my new shit phone wont have it.

argggghhhhhhhh everyone hide im going to kill everyone.

Singleplayer game is dreadful but the multi-player makes up for it if you can find fun people to play with.
