Mine doesn't say "Bench" on it though. I hate advertising for other people without getting paid.

It also doesn't have a hood.

Oh no, not benchers >.<

Overpriced chav cack that I can make at my place for less than half the price. Working in garments making and printing you know how much they cost :p

I was shocked to discover Bench stuff is worn by a certain sort of person (I'd never heard of it, it was just a nice zip up woollen top I saw in TKMaxx), so I'm doubly glad it doesn't say "Bench" on it.

What type of person? It was all skaters and indie kids back in the early nineties.

I was convinced they called it 'bench' because half the people (if you can call them that) that wear the stuff sit on benches outside the local Spar with a 2ltr bottle of Cider that they passed around the rest of the 13 year olds

How things change, eh? I bought mine from the shop Thom Yorke worked in, which means it must have been cool.

If it was years ago it's not so bad, but seriously go into 'Bank' and other shops like that and just see who is buying it now, whew! I stick to 'Soho' shops (goth, rocker clothes) because we do the prints and things so I get it cheap cheap!

I like preppy J Crew or Gap stuff. Or flares. Or skatery stuff.

Anything that doesn't look chavvy, really.

Mostly flares though, for some bizarre head-injury related reason.

I mostly dress in black, black is a good look for me. It makes me look like I'm aiming for pale and listless rather than just looking like an uncooked chip

Desk?

Ooh, scary. Computer, monitor, phone, but also

Playmobil Roman Centurion and four legionnaires, couple of random knights
Ibuprofen deep-rub anti muscle hurtee cream
Assorted lego
Docking station for Psion Revo
Four more legionnaires, in standard red outfit rather than the dashing white and blue of the other chaps
Pigsback squeezy pig
Camel in a shake-up ball, only with sand not snow (japes!)
Pile of books I've read, not sure where they belong
Umbrella with no echo
Vaseline tub (no one has ever questioned this; though the cleaners like to move the legions' heads around they don't meddle with it. So far as I can tell)
Plant that really should be in a bigger pot
13A fuse. Working? I know not.

Not since you Southern Thatcherites had your way.
