Depsite the crippling cost of travelling to and from London on a daily basis, I was quite looking forward to going there to study. Now, I have the offer from Oxford, it's a choice time.

Better points about going to and from Oxford is that I know where it is and I know the way, and how long it takes. The downside (albeit a temporary one) is that the course starts on Monday, uses different books that I don't have for the induction and I don't even have a welcome pack and only know from the website what's going on.

London, it starts on the 22nd, and I have the book. And it's in London.

So, I think a call to Oxford, have a chat then accept the offer, hand deliver the forms in tomorrow and pick up the books, and try to read 8 chapters of one book and 4 of another by Monday is a plan, and write off the deposit cheque as 'expense' and leave it like that. I think I calculated cost of travel as 400 pcm for london, where as it would be 110pcm for oxford, so that's a 3k saving over it and I'm all of a GRAWRR now.

Fucking education.

Urk, bit of a close thing, that, time-wise, but both'll be just as much of a mental effort when you're in them so yes, you've done the right thing there.

Besides, after a hard day studenting you can still make it to Bezzie drinks and back to Oxford (for to, I don't know, sleep in the gutter or something) of an evening.

Aye, it's what I'm going to try and swing with tomorrow.

Pain in the arse it is right now, though, as suddenly deadlines for documents have shortened, and it could be an embarrassing meeting...

Also: Flip a coin. And don't worry about not having read stuff by the first day. I doubt they'll be harsh on you.

What is it you are going back to study?

Personally Oxford sounds better, but then I have lived in/around London almost all my life and am thoroughly fed up with it...

All done.

Now going to study GDL at Oxfrod Brookes, which is ace, as I don't have to spend massive amounts of cash getting to and from London everyday.

So, all good.
