I'm probably really late on this fad, but "shreds" videos are really amusing me at the moment. I think the general idea is that a live performance video of a band is stripped of its audio and then new audio is added on to make the performance seem crap (and funny). I've watched a load of these recently & been generally very impressed with the editing skills of the uploaders. Don't know how to embed YouTube videos (someone on here did teach me a while back in this thread but I was probably a bit drunk & can't remember) so here are links to some of my faves. Some are very silly, some are more subtle. The Thing - The Musical Seen a few of these comedy "The Musical" or "The Opera" versions of films before, usually Schwarzenegger films where they have an Arnold sound-a-like narrating / singing during the clip. All very good. This one is a bit different though.
