Y'see on the one hand, this means an increase in nice girls in the Pen & Wig. On the other hand, it means lots of students cluttering the place 'till its standing room only. However, I am up for a getting drunk. It has to be after the 15th though, as I am skint, utterly. Literally, I have food in the fridge to just last me until payday and nothing in my wallet. Stupid forgetable National Trust donation taking my last cocking £40 I thought would see me easy. Gagh.

yeah, I've been working off my Eee exclusively these last few days as my normal laptop is at the menders. Being Xandros, which I've tentatively tried to change a couple of settings on (and not without kowing how to change them back, in the main) it, erm, 'does things' from time to time. I think I accidentally hit one of the keyboard shortcuts which changed, at my end, the font, though I'm guessing it had a far larger effect when viewed on the machines of others.

As for beer - not been in the P&W much at all since last time we went out, Meaty - you've got the sofa if you need it. Or Pete can fix you up with a student (they all want his cock, see?) and you can go back to theirs, but don't tell your missus or she might get pissed off.

My last train home is 10pm, so it'll be an early finish for me regardless. Plus I'm on a money saving binge this month so couldn't really afford (another) session anyway.

YES I WAS. However I am supposed to be out this Friday (a board meeting of my former colleagues at Comtec, wittily called Comtex) and next Friday (someone's Comtec leaving do). I may be driving at the former and the latter has a free bar though, which is a useful cost-cutting measure.
