You all know why I joined this forum- Davydd made me.

However, I am about as technical as an orange. I don't understand 99% of what anyone says on here :'( I sit here, trying to make sense of things, but it seems I'm inevitably doomed to be a poor, confused simpleton for the rest of my BETEO life.

SO this is my thread :D even if I end up posting to myself every time, it's my little corner where I can talk about ponies and sugar and gooses till my heart's content.
Can I keep my corner? Please?

You may want to stay out of the Eve thread - I've no idea what goes on in there either.

Something non-technical for you:

Image

Don't worry, I don't understad the technology gubbins either, ignore it all and imagine that they are talking about different forms of rice, it makes things more interesting.

As long as all the different things that go into the back of your TV are known as 'wires' and nothing more technical than that, then that's cool.

Um, that is all.

They honk. That's reason enough, really.

Oh, and this.

Sorry it's such a big image. But it is a rather large goose too. It needs it's space.

I found a file called "goose.mp3" on my external drive for some reason yesterday.

Yes, THAT goose.mp3.

As I discovered rather quickly after double clicking :)

1) Ponies are the subject of enough jargon to make the guy who writes the specifications for processors cry.
2)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar < all you ever wanted to know about sugar.
3)Canada Geese are the best sort of geese. TRUFAX.

My friend Reuben likes geese and I always try to buy him something duck/swan/goose-related for his birthday. We spend most of the time honking when in each other's company.

Sorry - I thought you disliked geese, not that you liked them.

As someone who grew up on a farm, all I can say is nrrrrrr nrrrrrrppppp. You are WRONG to like geese - they are evil. The farm nearest mine used to sell duck eggs, which we didn't produce but which my grandad loved. Take a few pennies, drop them in the little wooden box with a hole in the top, take some eggs. To do this though you had to traverse the goose gauntlet. You be six years old and have to make your way through a yard of attack geese. Brrrrr.... :S

Allegedly, the mafia prefer attack geese to dogs as they are pure evil and make even more noise.

Wow, somebody else says that! It always makes me think of Napalm Death.

Myp, man, next time I visit Tam in Notts you should come along and honk for us both. It would amuse me, too.

I cannot begin to describe how much Tam will belm at you, man. Seriously. The girl frightens and confuses me sometimes. Also, she doesn't like grindcore, and knows too much about me.
