Would anyone (three of you) be interested in buying Gauntlet on XBLA and having some co-op rampagery through it?

I know it's not the best game out there, but with three people drunkenly stumbling over it, it could be amusing...

I would consider it. I remember quite liking it back when I was little.

I will probably would. Also I've just bought Castle Crashers which is also top 4 player bashy bashy fun.

Gauntlet needs a twin stick mode.

Okay, so that's 3 of us... now we just need myoptika to be the valkyrie.

Does the XBLA version have a limit on how many credits you can use or is it just a case of carrying on and on as long as you want?

Can you hold down the symbol shift key to walk through the walls?

Single player has no limit (Although it screws your high score, which is points/coin)
I think multiplayer is done differently, but have never tried it.

Right, bought it last night. I cannot honestly imagine how you're meant to get anywhere alone - quite often you kill enemies at the same rate that they spawn from the generators. And then those angry red toothy things that spit fire... evil!

There is the EXIT TRICK!

If you stand still for about 30 seconds at the start of the level (you can shoot, just not move, so that means no adjusting your aim, sorry) all the doors will open. If you continue to wait for about three more minutes, ALL THE WALLS BECOME EXITS.
