Google hasn't been much use to me. I'm wanting to erase all music on my ipod without losing the record of the library I have on the computer.

You see it got corrupted a little while ago and completely re-added all my music all over again, despite it already being there. Thus I was using twice as much space as I should. So today I erased the music folder thinking that would make it re-sync and take all the music from my computer again but it didn't.

Any ideas?

The answer is 'Restore' to previous settings. That's sorted it.
