You're always oppressing me. I should be allowed to express my nature as I see fit.

Well presumably plenty of other people did, too.

No idea - my comment was meant to mean 'Why mocked? Lots of people voted for GJ, or she wouldn't have been elected'.

That's entirely up to you.

I actually wasn't planning on being at all unpleasant to young Matthew, but when I saw he was a moderator I just couldn't hold my tongue. I've since come to the conclusion that if you actually vote for your mods then you are probably getting what you deserve, so there is an element of natural justice to the whole thing... and who am I to override the forces of nature?

I'll still petition against him being a mod, obviously, because nobody likes a politician who flip-flops on an issue. Plus I can't be bothered thinking of a new avatar.

I think the fact that most people were still saying "John who?" on polling day was the biggest problem he had.

God, was that really just the last election?!?!? Feels like so long ago...

That and utterly failing at every bloody turn to ever draw attention to any of the thousands of total, utter cock-ups of his opposition. A bloody ten year old could have done a better job of criticising than he did, and you wouldn't even need all the pathetic mud slinging and slander. Just point out a handful of the totally corrupt, idiotic things they'd done and say "do you want more of this?"

That campaign should have been a cakewalk.

Because I only voted for her. (I found that by remembering the 'Tch'... and now I've found CUS says 'Tch' an awful lot.)
