I finished Darkest Fear 2: Grim Oak (guess why I chose that) earlier today, and, do you know, it was pretty entertaining. It's an puzzly game (like Dizzy - get this object, use it here, etc), but monsters hide in the dark, so you have to use torches and lanterns to light your way through buildings and such.
It's good fun.
I've got a, erm, demo, if anyone wants a try. I'll be starting DF1 tomorrow.

The only remotely interesting mobile phone game I've played that isn't an emulator is Doom RPG. That was actually pretty good, and lends itself to mobile gaming on a phone far more than the usual crap.

Would it work on a Sony Ericson K750i? I wouldn't mind a go, ifyou would be so kind.

I laughed in the face of mobile phone games until Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow (The 2D one as it plays like flashback - and I hate SC games normally) and as Sheepeh says Doom RPG is actually really good.

I don't know. Java games are fairly cross-platform.

Turns out it's freeware (albeit ad supported) and you can get it here: http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/Games ... 1954.shtml

The first one is quite different - you have to save hospital patients by leaving them in the light while you go to the end of the level. It's also quite good so far.

Might give these a go. Not bothered with phone games much as I have a DS on me most of the time. Doom RPG is ok though.

I paid Real Cash Money for Doom RPG (a fiver I think) and thoroughly enjoyed it. That's the only phone game that seemed worthwhile though.

I have spent many a minute playing Panzer Tactics II on my mobile phone. And some frustrating ones playing Michael Vaughan Cricket.
