There'll probably be quite a lot of work involved as I've got a fairly big backlog of stuff to get cleared before I go to Barbados :(

Um...well the holiday starts tonight!!

Tonight: Drunken pool with my friend Pru and then probably stumble back to mine, trip over the cats, then sleep.
Saturday: Supposedly going out with my neighbour for lunch I think and then I'll be out with Si and Jo.
Sunday: No idea what to do in the AM but at 9:00pm I'm quizzing with Mr.Chap and co.
Monday: Um...no idea...think it's a lazy day really.

Say hi to my parents as you go past. :)

I'll be working for about 4 hours on Monday, but that's about it. We need to get the tent out as we're going camping in the first week of September, but that's about it.

Most excellently, I get to spend the next two weeks playing XBLAH games (BC:R, Galaga Legions, Joint Strike, Braid, Geo Wars 2) and a bunch of my usual shmups, playing some bass, imbibing copious amounts of alcohol, listening to grind and trotting around the house in the buff.

Moving flat next weekend, so tomorrow I'm planning to go through all my stuff and throw as much crap away as I can. I've got literally about 100 beer bottles to lug down to the bottle bank as well. Then on Sunday I'm off down to Clapham for Get Loaded in the Park, and I fully intend to. Monday will probably be spent curled up in bed, watching Top Gear repeats and dreading going back to work.

You will. + there is a variable speed limit on the M27 due to road widening which has made the traffic extra batshit crazy.

Chinny top tip:

Come off at junction 11 of the M3 and head on the A3090 to Romsey. Follow that road all the way you can rejoin at junction 2 of the M27 missing out the roadworks. It looks far further but if there is traffic it isn't. I use that shortcut at least once a week. In fact I'll be using it in a few hours time.

If you are feeling really smart you can cut down from junction 2 of the M27 along the A31 which runs alongside it all the way up to junction 1.

From then on you just have to endure the traffic unless you cut across the New Forest.

One day this weekend the big cooling towers by the M1 are being blown up. Might be worth going to see.

I remember as a kid watching some cooling towers and a big chimney getting blown up near here. It was ace, the cooling towers just sort of went wobbly and folded, looking a bit like a plastic cup that suddenly got very hot.

I need to weed the decking, mow both front and back lawns and trim the back hedges. The nice elderly neighbour next door does our front hedge on his side for us, bless him.

depends on the weather, the reports are not good down this way, but the bbc website reckons we should have showers today, and it's been sunny for the most part. I hope it stays that way for the next 75 hours or so :)

I've got so much work on I dunno what I'm going to do this weekend.

3 videos, all need heavy amounts of editing doing. I'm just going to end up spending hours slaving over a hot Macbook and swearing at Color.

I only found out it was a bank holiday on monday 5 minutes before I left work. As a student I don't think I ever took heed of the bank holidays; they changed nothing. I would still need to do work on those days as well. Anyay, this weekend I will do exactly what I did last weekend: Nothing! Mainly because I don't know anyone and don't have a clue what there is to do around here and I don't fancy just randomly walking about. Also, my computer isn't even set up properly so I can't play any games or anything :(

Can't do much, really. My girlfriend is away house-sitting in rural Ireland, so that reduces the possibilities somewhat. And already I've had an uneventful day of not doing much, due to having a cold (which does feel like a borderline mild flu, to be honest) preventing me from doing anything constructive. Seem to go from being congested, to the unpleasant shivering/sweating temperature fluctuation thing ever half an hour. Worse, my sense of balance feels very fucked up, so attempting to play Mario Kart earlier made me feel like = :spew: Ah well, at least the previous pre-illness week has been eventful enough for me in terms of getting out places.

Be aware they are closing that section of the M1 for part of Sunday apparently. So might be worth planning ahead if you want to travel out of town.

I'll be doing much the same as the last 2 weeks:

Being a daddy = little sleep, cuddling, nappy changes and baths. Not to mention looking after the baby ZOMGLOL!!1

In between the above I'll be kicking myppies arse all over the XBLA high score tables and being a completely overwhelmed spod in Oblivion :nerd:
