I've had some experience with these bastards, it's a forester right? the springs go soft so shocks probably won't help. The real problem is that the springs you get from the usual motor factors are all too soft straight out of the box and the ride height is low again straight away so you can't use aftermarket springs. Subaru don't have any original ones left so you can't use those either. The closest we got to a satisfactory solution was to fit discovery springs which make it a tad too high and a little harsh but close enough. can't remember what model disco though, it was the older one with the staircase roof.

If only. You see, MrsA is shorter than the roof line. There has been many occasions, when, after egress, I have engaged in what has turned out to be a solioquy as she's suddenly 200 yards across the car park.

Equally, I could be just overly concerned as the back of the car has in it 2 isofix based child seats and a double buggy in the boot so it does sit a bit low due to the weight

That said, I'd rather spend my money on a Mustang convertible with the Ecoboost engine.

There's no denying the EcoBoost is a lovely engine.

If you're going to go to all the trouble and expense of getting an (IMO lovely) car like a Muzzie, don't emasculate it with some crappy little eco-box mill. I'm sure it does make good power, torque or whatever but it's just wrong for this kinda car. It'd be like shoving a CBR600 transverse four into my Harley.

Pretty sure I got flashed by the average speed cameras on the M62 on the way home this afternoon. There was a rather abrupt change from 60 down to 40 near the big IKEA in Huddersfield.
