This is stolen off Plisskens great story in the claim to fame thread.

If you had to have one person turn up at your door step, out of the blue, just for coffee.. Who would you want?

Bear in mind that a cup of coffee won't last long so you can only have a few minutes conversation and that is all.

I'd like Tommy Lee from Motley Crue to come around. He looks to be fun and he's always been someone I wanted to meet, but I imagine all the "Dude" and "Sweet!" would get tiresome before too long.

I know a guy in Leeds who made a joke about being Maddies killer on a forum somewhere. 2 weeks later, the police stormed his house and he was arrested. Be careful what you say.

If you can get onto the wireless AP of someone you want to set up this could be a particularly cutting practical joke.

I feel like initiating an "I kidnapped Madie" campaign, and get as many people on as many public forums to post that they kidnapped Madie, just to fuck over the police.

Inside LewiePs local police station... The sarge is sitting down enjoying a doughnut while looking at the BBC news. Suddenly, a deputy rushes in...

Deputy - "Sarge, Sarge! Quick! Someone mentioned Maddie on a forum somewhere! We must visit his home... he HAS to have something to do with it, he just has too!!"
Sarge - ".... Let's roll!"

I'd think it was a bit cheeky and presumptuous of them to turn up at mine demanding coffee, particularly when I'm a tea drinker. I'd enjoy telling Morrissey to fuck off and get his own coffee though. I can just picture him walking off down the garden path looking really dejected. He'd brought flowers and everything.

Last year at Glastonbury we went round screaming 'MADDIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!' to try to turn it into a meme.

Definitely Stephen Fry. Or Harry Hill.

But which would be better?

Coffee with Stephen Fry would be far too brief. He'd be a splendid dinner party guest.

Coffee: Jerry Sadowitz.

I thought the "be careful what you say" suggested that there was a link. Still, I could be reading it wrong.

However, what wasn't mentioned was whether they found Maddie in this chap's house or not. :)
