Villa make their long awaited return to european football on thursday (ignoring the stuff last month), although the match is on early enough that I will be around unless I go to the pub, which I'm not planning on doing (yet).

I should be around for this so I can give you all of my money.

What happens if there's more people signed up than can fit on a table then?

Say we got nine players, we'd have a table of five and a table of four until one person was eliminated, then it'd merge into one table.

It's how all multitable tournaments work.

If I remember correctly, it's max 20 people with 10 to a table, but I don't know if Craig can change that if there's more than 20 of us wanting to play (I'm assuming the table size is fixed, otherwise it'll be a bit cramped).

I was working on the assumption of 8 to a table, but the basic premise stands.

I never even thought about the merging thing. Makes sense though otherwise it'd be two completely separate tournaments.

Yeah, because if you had 100 people enter, you'd have 10 tables of 10 people, but as people were eliminated it'd shuffle you about to keep it even, until you had just one table left.

I was in a tournament where I was moved tables five hands in a row once.

The other day I got moved to a table where the other nine players were away so I spent the next few minutes just betting away to pick up all the blinds.

Hmmm, there's a chance I may no longer be going out tonight. In which case, I will be able to join in.

Pffft, is that the way it's going to be now? A woman on the scene and you just drop us like we're nothing to you. You should value your friends more, we'll see you through all your relationships, you can't just walk out on us when a bit of fluff comes along, we're not just here when you need us, it's a two way street! It takes effort and commitment from both sides!

OK the torunament is ready to register. Details below but same as usual:

To find it:

1) Start the PokerRoom software or open the client in browser. REMEMBER: Your log-in is your email address not your user name.

2) Click on the Tournaments tab

3) Select 'Private'

4) Find the tournament called 'BETEO_Craig'. Ensure the 'Sit & Go' and not the Scheduled' option is selected in order to find it.

5) Enter the password 'beex' when prompted to register.

Results:

Craig ran all over me at the end there. Well played.

Hopefully I be back next week to lose the winnings back to everyone. I didn't want to say in the thread that I be there and didn't turn up.

Some excellent hands in there. Some unexpected wins, some well played victories.

Again, an absolute pleasure to play with y'all. It really does make a difference playing with nice people that you know won't have a fit when they get a bad beat.

I imagine I'll be a regular fixture for this too. After a couple of early flushes I thought I was going to do ok but it wasn't to be.
