Even so, he's certainly not inspiring them, they're behind Derby on a game for game basis.

He can't communicate. It's a shambles. We need Tel back *now* to sort this mess out before we are beyond redemption.

I don't blame Ramos. For one simple reason.

In the five minutes I watched, Aaron lennon took the ball three quarters of the way down the pitch, had his man to beat and simply fell over. Then, from a corner, a Spurs player had a virtually open net, tried to control the ball with his thigh and muffed it. Finally, Didier Zakora had the ball near the touchline under no pressure and managed to accidentally knock it out of play.

A manager can't fix that degree of ineptness. That was the kind of thing you shout at people for on a fucking Sunday league pitch.

I'll never tire of laughing at Spurs.

As Craig said last night during the poker, they're now bottom of three different leagues.

I assume everyone doing the Guardian Fantasy Football (which incidentally, I'm top of. Well, the BETEO one anyway) got the same email:

Quote:
A quick reminder of the rules: You gain points for goals scored, assists, shots on target, accurate crosses, saves, clean sheets, tackles won, blocked shots, interceptions and clearances.

Which is best summarised as: don't pick Spurs players if you want to earn points.

STOP PRESS!

Spurs sack everyone!

Can only be a good thing. Not sure about 'Arry as manager though.

Still a fair old commute from Sandbanks though each day. He won't move from that place so I can't see it. Or if he does it won't last long.

FUCK FUCK FUCK! Redknapp has told Sky Sports he has the job. All agreed apparently.

OK he's a good manager but I'd rather have had Tel back. Mind you, rather Redknapp than Christian Gross Ramos.

Is it 100% certain at this stage? From that link, Redknapp's said something to Sky, so there must be something to it I suppose.

EDIT: You posted one minute before me!

BBC article has been updated as well. Will be confirmed in the morning and he will address the team before the game.

We will have to struggle through until January with two woefully mismatched strikers. Although things should improved as David Pleat hinted on Radio 5 on Friday that things behind the scenes were a disaster with some players "locked out" of the first team.

Well he wasn't going to take Portsmouth any further I guess.

But the most important thing is that Comolli has been sacked. No way would 'Arry have worked under him anyway. So it will be interesting to see how the Club develops (given that they are unlikely to repeat the Newcastle mistake).

Fucking hell, I really didn't think 'Arry would take this poisoned chalice.

If he keeps you up, then he should be proclaimed the best manager in the history of everything.

Oh balls, they're still only 3 points behind where they were last year at this point. Ramos kept them up by more than 3 points and won a cup, is he the 2nd greatest manager?

Plus Harry's got a January where he can buy because that last day "Fuck over Ramos" money is still there.

Now if he gets them into Europe from there I'll build the shrine myself ;)

It shouldn't be a problem. It was the Director Of Football that was screwing things up and he's been booted. 'Arry will be doing the signings.

That loss to Liverpool is going to nark a bunch of people. I'm trying to decide whether or not it is worth watching a bit of the Arsenal WestHam game or not.

It's fair enough though, missing our 2 primary threats against a team like Liverpool (Namely Joe Cole and Drogba) it was also going to be very tricky and an 86 match unbeaten run has to come to an end sometime. Good on them.

Yes. Five points off safety with one of the best squads in the Premiership... should be REALLY hard with most of teh season left to go.

Champions League or he's the worst manager in the history of everything.

FFS, the Guardians headline is "Redknapp magic rubs off on Spurs". You beat Bolton at home for crying out loud!

To be fair, we've beaten jack shit at home for about six months from memory. Possibly Portsmouth in fact.

Arsenal/Spurs tonight, isn't it? Should be interesting. Will the 'Arry effect carry Spurs to victory? (I should imagine not, but I shall be tuning in).

Since 'Arry has won 2 out of 28 games against Arsenal, I'm betting not.

If someone had offered me 3 points from Liverpool and Hull last week I think I'd have taken it.

As much as I love seeing Spurs flounder, hate Harry Redknapp and generally love the football Arsenal play..

:DD

Maybe if Arsenal can implode like that every week, Villa could nick 4th!

And then lose the CL playoff against some bunch of Spaniards...

Since the Liverpool defeat, Chelsea are 8-0 in the 1.6 games since.

That's the kind of recovery that wins titles.

I tell you what... Arsenal's place in the top four is looking bloody shakey right now.

They've hardly played anyone decent, and if Villa get a point at Newcastle on Monday night then we'll be ahead of them.

I fully expect the Arse to get back into gear and get 4th at the end of the day, but at the moment it looks like Villa could be in a scrap for it too, which would be exceptional progress since MON joined.

:)

Fuck that, have you seen the Second Round of the Scottish Cup.

Code:
Annan Athletic    1 – 2    Spartans
Civil Service Strollers    0 – 1    Vale Of Leithen
Keith    1 – 1    Forres Mechanics
Wick Academy    1 – 4    Edinburgh City

Now thats proper football teams.

Speak to them in English and play them in their proper positions. That kind of thing works wonders. They're a good squad (if not very balanced at the moment).

At Christmas he should be able to start fixing some of the problems with the squad and then we might actually be in a position to be conceding less.

What has he done? Be lucky as fuck. Liverpool should have won at a canter, the Arse managed to fuck up and somehow it is all down to a Redknapp miracle.

At least it isn't quite as bad as the US with the "cult of the coach" but fuck me...

Yeah, it's a lot to do with Arsenal and Liverpool fucking up, but I can't see that the players would have been motivated enough to get those points with Ramos as Coach.

Which says more about the actual players than anything else!

Still, Arsenal and Liverpool losing are great news for Chelsea (who I think are the best team this season, Liverpool game aside), ManYoo (4-3? Bloody hell!) and Villa.
