Memo to the Patriots. Last minute drives to win the game don't always work and sometimes the refs won't give you a soft pass interference flag. Epic Manning face from Eli, btw. 5 interceptions. |

Peyton Manning has broken the single season passing yardage record, to go with the single season passing touchdown record. The Broncos also now own the single season team scoring record. In the correct thread, this time. |

If Buffalo could pull off a freak comeback here and beat New England, that would be hilarious and would give the Bengals a bye week! (I think) |

Yes! That normally means we lose. But I am expecting our Special Teams to continue to make up for Andy Dalton's erratic radar. |

My Play-off picks: Wild Card Weekend Saints @ Eagles: Eagles. Dome team outside in Philly in January. Bad news for Brees and the Saints. Chiefs @ Colts: Colts. Chiefs are good, but lost all their actual meaningful games against playoff teams this season. 49ers @ Packers: 49ers. Even though they're going into Lambeau in January, 49ers can get things done. Packers didn't look too hot against a terrible Bears team. Chargers @ Bengals: Bengals. Despite Andy Daltons... inconsistent performance, the Chargers only scraped up a win in OT against the Chiefs B team. I can't see them having any success against the Bengals D, and won't stop their O. Chargers, Packers, Chiefs and Saints fans: I've just jinxed your opponents. Enjoy the second round. |

Have confidence in the Red Rifle! Bill 'The Sports Guy' Simmons wrote: For anyone making proclamations this week like "I just don't trust Andy Dalton in January," please remember that, in the last eight postseasons, (a) Matt Hasselbeck and Rex Grossman started Super Bowl games; (b) Mark Sanchez won FOUR ROAD PLAYOFF GAMES IN TWO YEARS; (c) Matt Schaub won a playoff game only 12 months ago and just nine months before he became a bleary-eyed carcass; (e) Jake Delhomme won consecutive road playoff games; and (f) Tim Tebow won a playoff game … in overtime … by completing an 80-yard touchdown pass.

Three of the four games were pretty engrossing, although everyone in this round is obviously flawed. Shame the Bengals couldn't get their shit together because fuck Flip Rivers. |

And it'll be the 49ers against the hawks. Close game there. Would probably say the hawks at home, then I'd say Denver will have the better of them in the superbowl. This has to be peytons year. |

That seahawks 49ers game was immense. Basically everything you could want in a game except from good quarterback play! First time I've really seen Kaepernick play too, and man that gazelle can run! |

Seahawks won't have the 12th man in the superbowl. Can't imagine peyton having a problem though. If he wins I imagine he might call it quits, end on a high and all. |

They've been fairly effective away from home too, and theres that old adage: Defense wins championships. But more than that, Its better for me to have no expectations. |

Okay, so Denver lost badly in the Superbowl. Partly because their D sucked ass. So they've gone out and signed Talib (ex-patriots) DeMarcus Ware (ex-Cowboys), TJ Ward (ex-Browns) to shore up their D. Ware rushing on one side, Miller on the other. Smith, Rivers and Pryor/whoever lines up at QB for the Raiders must be shitting themselves. |

Being stuck out in Baku I decided to bite the bullet and buy the NFL Pass...it's excellent, after playing around with it for a while I'd probably get it even if I was back in the UK. Not only can you get access to all the games back to the 2009 season but you also get access to the last few seasons (back to 2011) Red Zone programmes. Really impressive stuff. The only restriction is that you can't access the games that Sky showed in any given season (Regular season only). |
