How much does it weigh? (I’d Google it but I don’t quite know what it is. I know it’s a spaceship or spacehouse from Star Trek or Star Wars but I know there is more than one and I’m not sure which it is. (The Enterprise? Is that a thing?)

Ooh, maybe. I googled it and there’s a round bit but o think this is more like a horseshoe crab. The other one has two cigar floats.

Quite tempted to buy one of those Lepin kits. I think I would still sleep fine. It's not like I'd ever buy a £1000 Lego set anyway.

Quite.

A review I read of the Super Star Destroyer set said it wasn't bad quality - a few dodgy parts, but largely ok.

I'm tempted to get the ewok village.

I've bought my son a few of the figures and they are ok, sometimes the hands\hats\hair can be a pain to fit but that's it

Was thinking of getting Jabba's sail barge from them as you can't get that from Lego anymore unless you pay "collectors" rates.

You’ll pay about £170 if you buy from a supplier with stock in the U.K. to be sure there’s no import duty attached. I believe they only have a version of 10179 which is the ten year old design. Genuine lego sets were fetching three grand until the new version was released.

And yes, £650 is a shit load of cash for Lego.

Mimi, it’s the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars.

If you look for 05132 on the sites, that's the copy of the new Millenium Falcon. Its £176.00 from pretty much all sellers though.

A friend of a friend had the Millennium Falcon. He bought it from America when he was on holiday there and spent weeks and weeks when he got back, putting it together.

As soon as he was done, his girlfriend made him dismantle it because it was taking up too much space. It's been in the box ever since.

Yep. If you buy it in a Lego store it will come with wheels and a carrying handle because of the size and weight.

I really want one :( It's actually pretty amazing value for the number of pieces and minifigures you get.

No room for it though... I just love building them, the more pieces, the better. I loved Technic for that reason - the really big kits with loads of gears and stuff in. Now I'm all about the buildings though.

I've built 5 sets, probably with the same (or very slightly more) number of pieces in total as the big Millennium Falcon, and they've cost me about £100 or so more in total.

Ordered the Lepin Red Five. I did think about the Falcon but it's just too bloody big. I'd enjoy building it but then I've got no idea where I'd actually put it.

I got the Lepin version of Poe's X-Wing from Wish: https://www.wish.com/search/Star%20Wars ... rder%20Poe

Warning: Don't click that link if you like to keep hold of your money.

I kind of want the Lepin Star Destroyer but they want £80 which is still quite a chunk of change.

How good is the Lepin stuff, quality wise?

I've not put my hands on any yet, but this article suggested it was good, but not as good. There are manufacturing defects you'd hardly ever see with Lego, but none was game-changing.
