Any fans of the Drunken Bakers comics in Viz?

Well I've just discovered the guy who does them's site, and there's another comic series on there called Sporting Swine. See for yourselves, but I was nearly crying with laughter at some of them. The man's a genius.

I used to find them tedious and boring and then something just clicked, and now I quite like them. Will check out that site sir.

I didn't like Drunken Bakers much either until it suddenly clicked, too.

The 'click' was when they were being confronted by someone who had ordered a large amount of baked goods from them, and the baker was lying with his head down on his desk saying 'I assure you we did not' in exactly the way you can imagine someone with a pounding head to do because they just can't be arsed.

From then, I enjoyed it.

Agreed... It is genius!

There was a letter on the letters page of Viz a couple of months ago saying how they enjoyed Drunken Bakers so much, they can't wait till the punch line.

That sums it up very well I thought!

I like it for the vomit shots. Streaming eyes and snot going everywhere, it's so true to life.

Some of the pig things amuse.

Almost everything else is too tiny for me to read.

Same here. DB is fantastic! I want to read more!

As an ex-borderline-pisshead, there's something dangerously attractive about their sad wee world.

No two people seem to be able to come up with the same definition of "alcoholic". I think people tend to choose whichever definition has them on the "not" side.... :)

I have never really gotten into Viz, and I always wondered why Buster Gonad wasn't in massive agaony the whole time after using his 'nads as space hoppers.
