Hey ho,

The Official BeeX Poker Tour continues on Thursday. I will not be able to play on Thursday 14th so unless someone else wants to arrange the game for that date then this will be the last game until the 21st.

I am undecided on whether we want limit or pot limit but the instructions for finding the game remain the same. I will post them here for easy reference. Just do the following once the game set-up has been announced in this thread.

To find it:

1) Start the PokerRoom software or open the client in browser. REMEMBER: Your log-in is your email address not your user name.

2) Click on the Tournaments tab

3) Select 'Private'

4) Find the tournament called 'BETEO_Craig'. Ensure the 'Sit & Go' and not the Scheduled' option is selected in order to find it.

5) Enter the password 'beex' when prompted to register.

Post your interest here.

I got a bit excited playing 7 card stud last week and my poker account appears to be empty. I'd have to refill to play this Thursday so I'll have to think about it and let you know ;)

I'll have another crack at this, need to do something to spend the money I foolishly deposited into the account.

I can't have been the only one who put in $100 to try and get the maximum deposit bonmus, can I?

I'm down to $37.30 by the way. It's a bloody mug's game.

I have more in my account now than when I deposited my money. Ok, not much more, but I am nonetheless 'up'. :smug:

Still not sure if I'll be in for this. I might be, as long as I can deposit no more than $10 at a time.

I think deposit minimums may vary according to the method.

Anyway, the game is now set-up and open for registration. See first post for instructions.

Congrats, Meems!

I narrowly lost on out on a money winning place because DOCTOR FUDGING ASHENS wouldn't roll over and die. I clung on for dear life, but alas, it was not to be.

P.S. Craig is a silly.

One of these days I'll win, I'm sure. Or track you down individually and mug my £2.70 back.

Well played all.

Mimi won after a big comeback. It all hinged on the last two hands. I put Meems all in, she had 66, I had TT. Flop gave nobody anything, but river and turn were both (sadly for me) 6s. Next hand I go all in with 55, and Mimi has AJ... flop gives her a straight, and I go off to weep into my ironing.

:)

It was a very good bit of fun. Lots of banter and having a laugh, and I was very glad that those eliminated earlier hung around and chatted and stuff. All played in the most excellent of spirits. Heck, we even had a Dr A there.

:D

yeah, it was a lot of fun, really enjoyed it.

I think we will be able to have another one next week, actually, if people fancy one.

Is there any way of posting the results here? Craig went to bed before the end of the match and I didn't know how to find/post them (or find out how much I won)

I was 8th pipping Runcle by mere seconds.

Edit - Might have been

5th - GazChap
6th - Goddess Jasmine
7th - ComicalGnomes
8th - Joans
9th - Runcle

But I'm not sure about those.

I believe that is correct.

Really enjoyed myself last night. Playing online poker can often be quite dull, as you normally play with strangers and they're not particularly fun or talkative. This is the opposite of that, which is awesome!

Especially when I finally realised you could remove the dull hand info from the chat box and just have the chat.

I'm not going to be here for the one next week, but in weeks to come if the Future Mrs Curiosity is available, I'd imagine she'll join in too (if that's okay).

Well, I said last night that it looks like we can do next week after all, so I think Craig is going to set it up actually, only because he has been just trying different settings to try and fine a game of the right length/intensity. I'll tell him to post and let peeps know what is going on.

I don't' see why we can't play again next week. The little brats angels can play eggbox or go to fricking bed or something.
