I have three now. It's about being a lazy bastard and not wanting to change bits all the time. So far carpentry work I sometimes undertake I can do drill bit, countersink and screw bit without fucking around with changing bits.

Plus, they were half price and my wallet was aroused.

And yes MrChris, it is tempting to see if I can get a buff poncho with twin belt holsters :DD

This is a very good idea, actually, and I may have to do this. I've been putting up shit loads of post and rail fencing and have been getting super pissed off with changing from screw bit to drill bit constantly.

What's wrong with the sink? If it's a dripping tap it's super easy to fix yourself.

Try Screwfix - they're reliably quite cheap. However, I got mine today from my local massive B&Q. I've just be doing the bathroom and have a cabinet to make for the sitting room so I'm in there at least once a week buying materials and they occasionally have silly stock clearance deals - today being one that even if you had no immediate need, two Makita cordless drills in a case for £99 is too good to turn down.

Yeah, I get a fair bit of stuff from them. Their next day delivery is also super spiffy.

I may stick my head round the door of the Largest B&Q In The WorldTM, in Gloucester, and see what they have.

How has it come away from the wall? If it was screwed in and the screws have come out then it's a PITA. If it wasn't screwed (and it should be) then with a decent drill it would be easy to attach properly.

Having said all that, I think you may be looking at having to take it out to put it back in.

How about a dripping shower? I know bugger all about this kinda thing so I'll probably just get the Landlord to sort it but I'm just curious in case it's likely to be something simple.

Have you unscrewed the hose/shower head to see what state the rubber washer(s) in? 10p to fix if that's the problem.

Um...PITA is a type of bread isn't it? Hello! 22 year old woman here who has no freaking clue how to fix things unless they involve blue tak and scotch tape! :D It had screws, 4 of them I believe-there are 2 left in. The other 2 are both stored by the sink-I tried to put them back in but the sink is at an angle now and I can't do it :(

I am not allowed a drill, everyone in the neighbourhood has forbidden it-any type of DIY is prohibited actually :s

I can't tell you how it's off the wall because it was my fault and it was very very stupid of me

Um...how to put this nicely, Gaz isn't a 'handy man' type I don't think. I'll let him stick to the techno-side of life. He's more hapless than me....or should that be 'chapless?'

I actually put my pinkie finger to the corner of my mouth then :)

My girlfriend uses the various red shades offered by that brand. Red Passion was purply-red, and Hypnotic Red crayon red, if that makes sense. The Schwarzkopf Luminance red dye on the other hand made her hair purest orange ("like a carrot" according to her sister). I didn't think it was bad myself. :)

I've got the purple/red version of this on now! It's like there are different shades of red and purple which is nice-going nearly back to my roots as I am a red-head (not ginger) The bonus is they last really well too. Although they do itch the scalp like a bugger

I used to regularly go up North for a client and used to get train tickets booked a week in advance by the client and they were usually around the £150-180 for standard fares which always struck me as fucking outrageous.

It's about 85.00 return to Axminster from Shrewsbury. Trains are not a cheap affair :(

It's a T2 ship, so that 13 million is the base mineral cost, I think it would be closer to 60 million...

Alos, Mr Chris, you could have just got a lift back from Cheltenham with mrsA, then got the train to london from here as it's only 22.50.
