To do awash, you need POWAH.

http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=121369

DO IT WITH GUSTO.

I'm guessing either the conveyor belt falls to bits, or a ball gets dragged in underneath and makes the machine balance atop it all the way to the bottom of the hill. WORKS HERE though.

Been doing The Tube.

This solution takes over five minutes to run, but does eventually work - on my computer, at least.

http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=123080

And it pops like a champagne cork at the end, which is nice.

From their forum, here's the most simple found solutions for all levels.

*1. Learn to Play - http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=4725 - 0 Pieces

06. On a Roll - http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=3734 - 1 Piece

14. Four Balls - http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=104168 - 3 Pieces
15. Down Under - http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=13872 - 2 Pieces
16. Awash - http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=119514 - 3 Pieces
17. Handling - http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=17585 - 2 Pieces
18. Tube - http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=4992 - 3 Pieces
19. Back and Forth - http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=13454 - 4 Pieces
20. Unpossible - http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=9267 - 8 pieces
*These levels have since been moved into the tutorial and are no longer part of the 'real' levels.

Yes, other than "Unpossible" you never need more than 4 pieces.

My favourite so far is the Awash solution. Namely my thought process "So how's the going to wo.....oh".

Right, nobody here's done Unpossible yet, have they?

I was up till 3 this morning trying, got to within about 2 pixels of the ball being fully in the goal.. but alas, no further.

I think I'll need to try a whole different approach. Or keep the hell away from this dangerously addictive game.

[edit] Bums. I just checked the one in the list above and it now looks incredibly easy.

I've seen a much more complex solution for that which basically consists of a combination of a huge structure to get it up there and the solution to down below.

Yeah, that's what I've got saved currently. It's a big platform that raises up and then a little 2-wheeler scoots out and tries to flip over the edge. It's the latter part I can't get right, but it's frustratingly close.
I did try with ramp climbers to start with but couldn't get enough traction to make it on to the platform. That solution linked is pretty sweet.

Unless it can swing in from 10,000 feet below the level, that's not the issue here.

Bother. Well, it works on mine. Does eventually fall off, but only after swinging into the zone at least twice.

And infinitely better than my extremely basic one: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=99510

I must say I've loved seeing the minimalist ones. The guy doing the three piece catapult for Awash is a genius.

Also, some really good stuff there, LS.

That happens to me quite a bit, sometimes it's a bit slow to load, and this seems to make it get confused about what level you want to see. Just try refreshing the page again.

It's actually a bug. If you get a server fart and it fails to load the design, it assumes it's a player made level and says that.

I've finally made a ball lifter for Big Ball.

http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=140916

I prefer it to my "slam the rectangle into the target zone before the ball drops" solution.

This took quite a bit of tweaking and isn't the most graceful contraption ever but still, it's the result that counts!

I don't fancy the look of the last 3.... :S

I started that going when I started watching Hitman. At the end of the movie it was only half-way up the hill. This computer is a bit too old, I think.
