Another reason to stop me getting a Wii! Thanks for saving me money, Nintendo. :)

It's stopped me buying any WiiWare or VC stuff. I've not bought anything for months.

Well, having no money has helped with that too, of course.

I really do want the Final Fantasy game some time, though.

No doubt they'll bring out the 'Wii Lite' or something, so you can store more downloaded costumes for your Petz Sportz.

I too am glad I didn't buy a Wii.

I'm glad I bought one, because I sold it for profit a year later.

And yet they're still printing their own money. Personally, I've spent much more money on my Xbox/Xbox 360 than I have on the Gamecube/Advance SP/DS.

The thing is that I can imagine having awesome fun with a Wii, but there's too many things that annoy me about it that's stopping me getting one.

They're great fun, aren't they? But they're a bit boring on your own, so you might as well let someone else buy it.

It's certainly put me off buying some of the Neo Geo games as I don't want to fill up my Wii with games that I might already have the cartridge for anyway.

Shouldn't be too hard to fix surely? Just allow stuff to be 'run' from the SD slot. It doesn't even have to actually be run, just have some code that swaps it into flash memory temporarily then swaps it back when you're done. Couple of extra seconds of load time won't hurt.

All this grumpiness about the Wii. It's great. And fun.

Yes! I think the Wii is great. relatively inexpensive and loads of fun, and there are some great games out for it.

I'm not debating that at all. I've played on a number of friends' systems and concur with that. I just don't think it's worth me getting one when my 360 gets so much attention.

Since getting my 360 in September last year, I've turned the Wii on maybe 3 or 4 times. And that was to play Lost Winds.

I think I play on the wii perhaps 3-4 times as much as I do on the 360, but I think that is just because they are more 'my kind of games' - the games on the Wii are games that I particularly enjoy playing. I love silly, light hearted games that are full of colour, and I guess that's the console that caters more for what I enjoy. We have a PS3 as well, but we only have one game for that, and that's Singstar.

I play my 360 more than my Wii because it has a lot of 'B grade' games I want to play. Gears, CoD4 and so on. I typically by a second hand 10 hour shooty adventure and play through it.

But, although I play my Wii less, when I do it's for 'A grade' games which are more special to me. (Mario Galaxy, Excite Truck, Trauma Center, Lost Winds, Wii Sports)

So although the 360 gets much more of my time, the Wii is my more treasured console.

If that makes sense.

I also love games like that, but the shoddy online play, crap VC ports and rubbish stars system make me baulk.

I'll get one when it drops in price.

My Wii is exclusively used for sports games with 4+ people present. I have absolutely no wish to do anything else with it. I suspect, had it not been free I'd have sold it.

Mario Galaxy is awesome. The rest of the time it's just a toy more than a gaming device. I really like toys. Especially ones a 24 year old with no kids can get away with owning.

I'm considering selling mine as a bundle, however I've got VERY MANY VC games, and want a fair price for those.

Alternatively if I could get the homebrew channel to run emulators more smoothly, or whatever - I'd keep it then.

As my first statement might suggest, storage space became a bit of a problem. When I ran out of space to put downloaded stuff I found that an XBox 360 Elite was a great storage device for future downloadable games, allowed me access to a better collection of them and gave me a controller to play them with which doesnt make my arm hurt.
