Be Excellent To Each Other

Anyone heard of this? It's just appeared from nowhere on the Xbox Live video store.

It appears to be a Batman version of the Animatrix - a collection of short stories by various directors set in the Batman universe.

Unfortunately, it also reportedly shares another trait with the Animatrix: some of the stories are quite weak or boring.

Personally, I'm surprised they did this given the high regard that many (myself included) hold the early-to-mid 90s Batman animated series (I consider it the best version of Batman).

Yes. I have it on my iPhone though I've only watched the first one so far.

I got the Blu-Ray for my birthday. Excellent stuff, I thought. Brilliant extras, too, including four of the best episodes of the animated series.

Batman is voiced by the guy from the animated series as well.

Why not just make more of the animated series, as opposed to trying to Jap-o-fuck the animation?

(and yes, I realize that almost all of Batman: TAS was animated in Japan)
