Eventually the creases cancel each other out and it looks like it's been ironed anyway.

I've actually worked out that if you take shirts out of the tumble drier and hang them up when it finishes, rather than 4 hours later, you tend to end up with decidedly less creased shirts.

One of the partners in our department tells off associates and juniors for:

(1) Having unpolished shoes.

(ii) Wearing a shirt with a chest pocket on it. Woe betide the person who keeps pens in it, too.

(C) Wearing short-sleeved shirts.

(d) Wearing off the rack suits.

(5) Not having a haircut soon enough.

(vi) Wearing jumpers.

And other things.

Surprisingly, he's actually a fantastic bloke. We all just have to learn to live with the fact that he's a sartorial nazi. However, him referring to people wearing chino-style trousers as "misunderstanding business casual for golf-club casual" was one of the highlights of the last year. How we laughed.

Waistcoats are Charisma +4 as standard. +5 if they have pictures of monkeys on them.
