Stuck the arms on the bottom of the 250 quad frame too. Need some help with this now, can't get my head around what to do with the electrics. Plenty of guides online but non that include the distribution board. |

Well, those Flying Wings are fucking brilliant. 2nd day out with them, 16 batteries through them... and still intact! If you painted one black, JC, it would look a bit like a stealth fighter

Not ran my cars this week as planned. We ended up having to come back early. It'll be the week after next now. Not too much of a problem because I'm still sorting out my new PC but yeah, bit bummed. Still, I got to see my uncle and he's doing well after his cancer op I'm also skint and on the cadge... Does any one have any motor power wire? with some bullet connectors on? I want to prep my car for the 9 turn motor but don't have any wires.. I'll see what I can find on Ebay. |

Took the Kyosho out on the sand again. New motor in, 15 turn IIRC. Much fun ! this time I really made tracks haha. Just cleaned it all off, got it out on the window ledge drying. |

Don't know a thing about saddle lipos, JC. Do you have to get those due to space inside? You could save a bit of money and get a sensored Motor and ESC from hobbyking, but I suppose it might be swings and roundabouts cost wise with postage charges from two places. |

Yeah the car is 4WD dude. The motor goes in the middle and the two diffs are fed by a band thing. Very complicated, but then after the Cougar that's what I want hence why you need the saddle battery (pic). The only thing I know isn't very cheap is the motor and ESC combo. However, it is an 11 turn so it will be as quick as balls. |

Avoid those leopard combos, they're actually smaller motors in a heat sinked casing. Had one in my Tamiya 2wd buggy, didn't last that long. |

Right, well I have changed my mind yet again. Probably a good thing I have a week to think it through. So I'm not getting the Cat just yet. It would wipe me out financially for another month and basically I've just got done a two month stint nearly with no money in my bank account. Now thankfully Mrs JC takes care of all of the bills and rent (not pays them, I contribute, but yes, different entities) but I don't want to skint myself for another month.. So... At first I was going to get a Cougar SV2 and fit my 9 turn motor. Then I realised that the SV2 only takes a wider yet smaller battery and you can't fit NIMH. So that was that plan scuppered. So now what I am after is a track/road car. It would be forking fast, that's for sure. |

I have a TT-01e and a TT-02, JC. Both are great 'car park racers'. The HK combo I suggested above is what I have in mind, and they go like stink. Can dial it back by using a 2S lipo, but I tend to always run 3S (only giving it full beans on straights). |

Hah! I found one  So the next car is going to be a Schuey based metallic orange Pagani Zonda Got all my model numbers and will order Friday as I'm going to be in and out a lot over the next few days. Excited though! It's 4wd too and I've specced up super wide rims and tyres too

Theyre both ripped lol. The edges of the rims are so badly worn they won't hold the tyres Yeah they were glued on, but I didn't have the foam inserts for concrete so the forces on them at around 40mph must have been uber intense tbh. I won't be running it on concrete again, that's what the 9 turn Zonda will be for

I got a Schumacher Code in the end. Same as I have for the Cougar.. I'm a sticks man Mark tbh. I do have a wheel control but I don't particularly like it. I'll order the car kit tomorrow

I just don't like it tbh. Maybe I'm just old school... Well tomorrow is the big day. Have been skint for ages sorting out my PC but can finally order the car and all the bits I need for it. It'll be pretty rapid too, given 9 turn motor and so on. WIll need to take it to the basketball court near mum's house. And also, I am going to try and get a decent camera. Not onboard, but just something to record my runs with. The Cougar does the coolest shit when you are ramping it. As you steer at max speed the opposite front wheel lifts up. Looks really badass hehe. Mustn't forget to do a log this time too. |
