Whoo! Some excellent L4D2age there.
Some tips!
If you are really, really hurt and limping along slowly, expect to see Kalmar the Health Hoover zip past you and beat you to the health by less than a second, and proceed to heal his almost-orange self.

Also, if you happen to die on top of a Rollercoaster, expect Kalmar the Health Hoover to take the defib from your dead body and simply run off with it.

Excellent game, chaps ;)

Its the shooting gallery at the start - i did start up the game but since everyone else was wandering off i left it before i got too far away and munched on.

For that end bit i was thinking getting everyone on stage and using the flare thingies to set infected on fire , and stashing the gas cans / fireworks in a pile at the back of the stage to throw on between waves.

Standing on those top podiums was great to set off the gas cans or just use an axe to keep normal infected from getting up there but as soon as a special infected showed up you were too far away from everyone else

Yeah, I seemed to be doing fine up at the back of the seating, especially when we stashed loads of gas up there, but as soon as I moved out to try to rescue anyone I immediately got mobbed or hunted :(
I tried the raised platforms but like you say it's too isolated and you can get into trouble.

It's a nightshift weekend which means I will mostly be playing xbox. Anyone want to play? I'm thinking BF:BC2, MW2, Burny P, or maybe even an old favourite like Gears 2 or UT3.
Of those I think my vote would go for BC2, MW2 or UT3. If anyone wants to play anything though then I will go with the general consensus.

I might be able to be on sometime after 9.30 but only have Burnout P or Halo 3.

Bad Company 2 is a popular choice.
Gears of War 2 is splendid and very cheap I'll bet now too.

You don't like blood or gore, so the Left 4 Dead games are out. Not much gore in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, but is a military shooter, so if you're turned off by that, don't bother.

Gears of War 2 is excellent. I believe the GOTY edition with all the extra maps is reasonably cheap now.

Mr Dave advised me that I wouldn't like Gears of War. But I don't entirely trust him as he speaks like a British villain from an American made for TV movie.

I imagine I said that you should look at videos of it to decide. What with it being fairly bloody. Particulary when you go shoving chainsaws into people.

Ah yes. For some reason my brain associated L4D with gore, but not GoW. Stupid me.

I don't have it.

I saw Dimrill playing BFBC2 last night! I put my disk in, tried to join his game and he'd gone. :'(
