I have Burny P. It still hasn't come within three metres of my Xbox's disc drive.

I'll play it one day. I utterly refuse to download a mandatory massive patch I have no intention of buying, though.

You mean the massive mandatory patch that includes free elbow knacking plastic suicide rockets?

You have to download the island patch to play it online, don't you? Maybe I'm confused.

You do need to download it to ensure a consistent game world with the people you're playing it with, who may have bought the DLC.

Plus it means we can start of marked man races then sit at the other side of the Island bridge gently fingering our anuses in Mr Chris' direction.

As far as I'm aware, it's a mandatory download for playing online, but is unlocked via a code. You still have to download it, even if you're not buying it, to play online.

Correct me if I'm wrong, chaps.

Yep, that'll be it.

I have nothing against all the free content they've provided. My complaint is entirely against the premium of space on these expensive hard drives, and the time and bandwidth required to download said patches for a game I have little interest in.

IIRC the Island portion only takes up about 150mb or so & contains a few new fixes & features*. The bulk of it is the motorbike pack & challenges. There was a fuckton of free shit before the island & cops n robbers pack mind.
*Restarting events was in it IIRC.

EDIT: Also, Mallowbar is a big emo belmer :)

Sorry, would have been up for it if someone had messaged me.

As I always say, I'm always up for online play of Halo, Burny P or Forza if I am online and not engrossed in something. And even if I am engrossed in something if I can finish the mission/level I am on I am liable to join the other game as soon as I can.

Hi!

I am around tonight for a rare evening of Bezzyage if anyone would like to oblige. If not, I'll just crack on with Mirror's Edge.

I'm going to play some Gears of War 2 tonight, should anyone fancy joining in. New maps not necessarily required, I'm just trying to level up to 100 as it's a super boffo 25 x XP weekend.

I might be able to dust off the Xbox 4000 tonight for the first time in what feels like months. If I am around I'm up for any game I have (so that's Forza or Burny P basically).

Preferably Forza.

If that is Forza 3, I don't have it. And I am not a huge fan of BP tbh, so don't make a special effort for me! :D

(thanks for answering though)
