Ugh, some of Redd's fakes are so good. :S Got caught out because I didn't have the guide to hand and the difference with the Solemn Painting is SO SMALL.

Yup. It might have been because I bought a digital rather than physical copy.

That guide isn't really correct any more. I had the statue of venus today. The guide says the hair is what to look out for, but mine had a necklace which pointed to a fake.

Edit:

this & this look better.

Thank you Miki for the Opthalmo torso! He is finished! Actually one of my favourite fossils as there is a model of an ichthyosaur (actually, several) amongst the old Crystal Palace dinosaurs. I think the bony eye structure is pretty large so maybe an opthalmosaurus? Anyway, the models are completely wrong, but I have many childhood photos there with my grandad. Edit: I mean the Crystal Palace models are wrong. AC does a far better job of it.

you're very welcome and I love that you love them so much

we have a natural history museum in Leiden mostly aimed at children, they have a t-rex
the museum is lovely because they let kids touch and do all sorts of things
because of corona they have made a virtual tour
this is their website https://www.naturalis.nl/en
and this is the virtual version of the museum https://www.naturalis.nl/virtueelmuseum unfortunately I think the explanations there are just in dutch

After giving it some thought, does anyone want these pins when they arrive? I do like videogame memorabilia, but badges are just going to sit in a drawer forever, so if anyone would appreciate them more, just shout up and I'll pop them in the post to you. :)

Nice work on the fossils, Mimi. No idea how many more I need to get - I've mainly been keeping an eye out for the torso that Dimrill needs.

Gate is open for the afternoon. If anyone buys the slide, they'll have to let me know if it actually works :)

https://twitter.com/underlogic_sw/statu ... 8167099400

Hot items today are the destinations signpost and the hearth (I assume the hot prices apply to anyone using the shop and not just me?)

Also, I've created a little section near the airport with assorted bits that are free to a good home. I'll try to make sure it's not just tat I don't want, so there are a couple of recipes and some crafted bits in there too.

If you stand in front of the skeleton and press A he lifts his arms out, scary zombie style.

Goodness me, some things are super spendy! I might have said yes, but I’m ok with the one I have and have finally convinced Darwin to get his own house and little person on the island do I’m going to give him my money to get him started up.
