Not only was there a booking fee, but an additional charge to email me my ticket for me to print myself!

This would be huge news, as I wasn't aware I was married.

Yes, and that's exactly why it's probably going to be left alone as a mild niggle that I just put up with

First thing this morning I thought of something that really annoys, but I can't remember what it was, and that really annoys me.

A minor annoyance, but something I notice every time:

In a game on the Xbox One and want to go to the store? Press the Xbox button and choose the Store icon and you are taken to the dashboard, but not the store.

The stupid 'Workday' mobile app always asks for a PIN code to be set up, which I duly do, but then the expiry for the PIN is so short that next time I come to use the app the PIN is no longer valid so I have to set up another one.... which is exactly the same number as the one from the time before, and the time before that.

An Irrational annoyance.

I just found out that the number 11 bus in London (a place I have not lived for almost 25 years) last year changed it's Eastern Terminus from Liverpool Street to Waterloo.

This used to be my local bus, that I could catch to school if I was running late, and it was a really good way of seeing a lot London Sights for quite a cheap price.

It still goes to quite a few, but you don't get to see all the City of London Stuff any more (including St Paul's).

I don't why, but when something from your childhood changes like this, it really seems to hurt more than it should

(an Aside:

A few years back I was in London looking at Universities with my oldest Son, In between that, and watching T20 Blast Cricket, we did an ultra cheap sightseeing tour, with me as guide, where we took a Thames Clipper to the Millenium Dome, then the Cable Car over the Thames, Docklands to Bank, walked to Liverpool Street, and then the Number 11 Bus to half way down the Kings Road, where we met my Brother.

I think we had to pay a surcharge for the Cable Car, but the rest of it was essentially free)

Except Viz, where what it is, is ironic. (Yes, you spotted it - the latter tautology bugs me.)

"needs fixed" instead of "needs fixing" or "needs to be fixed" seems to be suddenly prevalent these days. Used to be a Scottish accent thing but now I hear English people saying it and it sounds daft.

Influencers. And Reality TV 'stars.'

But today I'm feeling smug because Reality TV stars have been charged over investment plugs in which 'social media influencers with a combined Instagram following of 4.5 million people have been charged in relation to promotions of unauthorised investments.'

"The FCA has alleged that Emmanuel Nwanze, aged 30, and Holly Thompson, 33, ran an Instagram account under the handle @holly_fxtrends to give advice on buying and selling contracts for difference, without authorisation.

The FCA said that contracts for difference (CFDs) were high-risk investments used to bet on the price of an asset, in this case foreign currencies.
It said 80% of customers lost money when investing in CFDs because of the risks.

Mr Nwanze allegedly ran the foreign exchange trading scheme and issued unauthorised financial promotions.

The watchdog claims that he paid social media influencers to promote @holly_fxtrends to their Instagram followers.

Love Island’s Jamie Clayton, Rebecca Gormley and Eva Zapico, Towie’s Yazmin Oukhellou, and Geordie Shore’s Scott Timlin were also among those charged
."

I don't really want to see these people end up in clink, but on the other hand it serves them right for thinking they could get away with this crap.
