YMMV, obv. I get very easily bored of the Dark Souls-style slow formulaic fighting and repeatedly having to do the same areas over and over again. Most others on here jizzed all over its face.

Surely it would be worth buying something easy to shift - a PS4, say, and then selling it again tomorrow?

With 10% eBay fees you'll struggle to make a worthwhile profit.

Basically this - say you buy something for £200 and its £10 postage

The discount is on the item only so £40 off - you pay £170

If you sell it tomorrow for £200 (+£10 postage) ebay will take £21 ebay fees (10% of total including postage) - and paypal will take £7.34 (3.4% of total +20p) leaving you with £171.66

So you've made a £1.66 profit - but for a lot of hassle

You could buy free postage only. Also when did eBay start taking a percentage of the postage fees?!

September 2013

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/s ... tage-costs

For the buyer its a good deal to get something cheaper - its just not a deal to get something to sell on ebay to try and make a profit

It's good that it's barely touched, I hate when you get a game with so much wear and tear that the graphics are all ragged round the edges.

Good Humble Bundle this week.

$12 gets you the new Homeworld and Tropico 5.

And some other stuff, obviously.

I didn't play the new Vita version yet, but I did play it on PS2 (it was released in the UK as "Global Defence Force"), and it was fantastic.

The Vita port of the sequel (EDF 2017) was solid, so I imagine this one is too.

Metal Gear Solid V on the PS4 now at £17 from Amazon. I've taken the plunge, in spite of the imminent arrival of Fop Jr MK2.
