Although for what it's worth, I don't like the Lego games either.

Sure, they are charming, and have great cutscenes, but they are dull to play, and have terrible controls.

Also there is about 50 of them and they are all exactly the same game in a new skin.

Fine, you have me convinced. I shall hate them from now on. It shall at least save me money in what I had until now mistaken as being enjoyment, and saving money is indeed the purpose of this thread.

I am totally bargained up :D

The Playstation Store "sale" is on: http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2015/07/ ... rts-today/

Nothing overly-cheap for the PS4 (although I'll be grabbing NBA 2015 for £20), but the PS3 has some great bargains like Bulletstorm for £3.29, Dead Space for £4, Just Cause 2 for £4, Mirror's Edge for £4, and the Mass Effect Trilogy for £12.

Like any game, they are massively improved by co-op, but after having played about 6 or 7 of them I have no desire to play any more, especially solo.

Um, that link you've provided seems to just go to a page showing paid apps ?

Not used my Nexus 7 in ages (apart from Skype calls) and never bought any apps from Amazon so maybe I'm doing something wrong ?

Yeah, wrong thread - it was that or necromancy. Beware the in-app purchases making it even less of a bargain.

Pre-order either a Steam Link or Steam controller and get both Portal 2 and Rocket League free.

(Not very) interestingly I'd never even heard of the Steam Link until reading this deal.

I was very tempted until I realised it's a solution for a problem I don't really have.

Nah, it's of little value to me either. Hooking my PC directly up to my TV is so convenient in so many ways that I'm never not doing it again.

The Steam controller on the other hand I am very tempted by because lazy devs not implementing controller support is something I come across all the sodding time.

Also, Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons is only 3 euro, which is a bargain if ever there was one.

Brothers is discounted to that price or a shade cheaper pretty regularly though.

Probably one for Cavey but then the idea of downloaded music rather than vinyl and valves probably makes his hair fall out...

Anyway Number of the Beast is the album of the week for 99p on Google Play this week.

All the X-Com Enemy Unknown stuff is back at a fiver on Steam. (Complete pack is £5, I've bought it just for the Enemy Within expansion.)

No idea when I'll actually play it, but for the price of lunchtime soup and sandwich it seems daft not to snag it.

Fuck yes. It's much less rpg-y and far more rts-y.

I played part way through DoW2, but I got bored with it. I had more fun with the original, even if it is little more than Starcraft in a 40K skin.
