It's supposed to be a pretty solid game, and for free, may as well give it a try. Never played it at the time. |

The first one is really good , and it was one of the first games I saw that really tried to do away with a HUD at all , everything you see is 'in game' with your energy / stasis power on the back of your suit - and at least at the start you are an engineer and start off with engineer tools that you are just making use of to dispatch the enemies. It does drag a bit near the end (dragging the marker around on the planet) and you get to learn how it sets up some of the jump scares but its well worth a play through. The 2nd loses is way slightly and the 3rd they tried to switch things around too much but are both good to pick up if you can see them anywhere cheaply. |

There are quite a few in stock at this price, in varying condition, but all are “Good”. Make sure to read the description when ordering – quite a few of these are “Free game is not included”. Holy shit, the new Humble Android Bundle is pretty good. PWYW for Bag It!, R-Type II and Aralon: Sword and Shadow and beat the average to get The Cave, The Room 2 and Carcassonne. It's the 'beat the average' games that are the real winners there of course but the current min price for all six is only $4.21. |

Totes having VVVVVV! I downloaded the demo the other day and enjoyed it. Mind you, I had to do the Joy2Key thingymagik and the left/right controls were too twitchy to play it properly. I should sort that out. Facking hell, my back catalog of games to finish has increased tenfold in about 4 weeks. |

Jesus fucking Christ, have you people seen the current Humble Comics Bundle? It's ridiculous! I don't care if you hate the entire medium, or if you're just not sure about it; just buy the bundle and read the lot because everything included in it's fantastic fiction that deserves your time regardless of anything else. Buy it. Read it. Love it. DO IT! |

I've already got and have read everything in the bundle and was still compelled to check $50 their way because of the quality of what they're offering. Plus the download is DRM free CBR files which is pretty surprising. Fair play to Image for the whole thing. |

Man I fucking loved Shadow Man when I played it on the N64. It just felt like this massive explorable world with a genuinely foreboding atmosphere throughout, and the story was twisted enough to really hold the attention of a young me. No doubt it'll look and play like ass now but at the time it was genius. |

Ticked some off the wish list today thanks to http://savygamer.co.uk/ Antichamber for £5.99 (Steam/Humble Bumble) FTL £3.99 (same) To The Moon (GOG) And then I create my GOG account and they've only just given me Beneath a Steel Sky for NOWT. Nothing. Zilch. Nadda. Just cause I'm ace. Probably. In fact, there were some other games on there as well but I didn't recognise the names apart from Ultima. Anyway, PC gaming, aye? Still blows my mind what stuff you can pick up for cheaps. |

There's currently a load of free credit to be had in the Amazon Android app store. You can do some trivial stuff for £9 or go a bit further for £24. The selection in the Amazon app store isn't as good as Google Play but there's enough in there that free £9's worth of stuff isn't to be sniffed at. If you haven't already, just install the Amazon app store on your Android device and log into your Amazon account on the app which then allows you to buy Android apps from the website. The easy £9 is then just a case of going to the Amazon web site (not the app!) and 'buying' the following currently free apps: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007D2XSW0 http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BD6EJRK http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004YF6MHW http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005J0VPNC http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HES6HBM http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00IRJPDJY http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007N82W4E http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ESCJG1U http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00795P4EG Each one earns you 100 'Amazon coins' which is worth a quid in the app store so £9 profit. And if you want to go a bit further you can buy the Kindle Fire version of GTA San Andreas from the Amazon site here (even if you don't own a Fire which I don't) which will cost you 499 of the coins you've just earned but get another 2000 back; taking your overall 'profit' up to £24.01. I've just done it and it works fine, you coins balance goes up within minutes of buying the various apps. |

I sometimes grab the 'free app of the day' if it's an interesting looking game which I didn't realise also sometimes nets you free coins so having looked at my account because of all this I've got near enough £28 in credit; that's like a year's worth of Android software for me. Granted not everything I'm after will turn up on the Amazon app store but a good chunk of it will. |
