Since iOS 7 so about October time last year ?

The cards were *not* on offer in my local tesco despite it supposedly being nationwide so worth checking - someone on hotukdeals posted a picture showing they should be on offer until 12th

12 month warranty, and if you're not happy with the condition, you can take it to a GAME shop and swap it instantly.

Hmmm... not quite cheap enough for me yet, certainly for a preowned wifi only with no memory card or games or anything.

Games ? - if your part of PS+ you'll have about 5 or 6 just waiting for you (if your not then sign up)

Memory card - you could do with buying a big one but if your really not sure just buy a 8 gig card from Argos and give it a try (extra spend £15) http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... 060429.htm

Post subject:  Re: Bargains, Bargains, Bargains!

I'd want a 16gb card, due to PS+. Which puts the cost not far off the bundle deals that come around every so often for a new 3G Vita...

I actually looked up which distros Steam support - amazingly it's ONLY Ubuntu.

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -QHXN-8366

Obviously you can install it on any distro you like, but they only officially support Ubuntu.

I believe that the thinking behind that is not so that Valve don't have to support loads of distros, but so that developers don't have to support loads of distros.

If you had to guarantee support for every distro under the sun, I think a lot of devs would shy away from supporting Linux.

Probably wouldn't hurt to offer support to the other most popular ones like Fedora or Debian as well though.

That Deadpool deal is arguably even better given that Activision's Marvel license ran out earlier this month so it can't be bought from any download service on any platform and, I assume, they won't be making any new physical copies.

Snaffled that. Played the demo of Take On Helicopters and found it to be an interesting curiosity but never got round to getting hold of the full game, same with Arma II.

Incidentally in what way does the standalone DayZ differ from the mod?

At the moment, not a whole lot. However, the mod has now been abandoned so won't be updated again, whereas the standalone game is getting multi-weekly updates. It's also got a new engine which isn't as cruel on people's GPUs.

Post subject:  Re: Bargains, Bargains, Bargains!

I see, that makes sense then, I was just wondering why people would still be buying the standalone. I'll give the mod a quick go and then wait for the finished thing, preferably on the PS4 if that ever happens.
