For those who don't have the stomach for HUKD, apparantly HMV are selling the trigger accessory for the PS3 for £2.99 (linky). For those who don't know, these clip or glue or something onto the stupidly convex triggers of the Dualshock or Sixaxis and make them concave instead. I heard they are also in-store, I'll go look at lunch time.

Apparently in stock at Toys 'R Us at the moment. I managed to get one from Game using this, you just need to keep checking and cross your fingers.

I tried EVERYWHERE in Preston today.

"Do you have Wii Fit in Stock?"

"No"

"Do you know when you are getting any more?"

"No"

is it just me or is that a great punk band name, I'd make it myself but my ability to play punk or make a band that would play punk is slim. I may be making a band though so watch this space, for a while.

Good crikey that Conan is a fucking brilliant barg. Admittedly on the PS3 though.

I had the worst addiction to the DS version of this last year, I put well over 50 hours into it -- longer than any other game I bought in 2007 (and 2007 was the year I bought a 360 and a Wii so that is saying something). The PSP version looks better than the DS one too. Part of me would like to play it again but it is such a bad idea. Still, if anyone here is even vaguely tempted, I heartily recommend this bargain.

Says it dispatches in 3-5 days - not sure if it's already been sucked dry then, this deal - but well worth trying, as Dimrill says, if you're a PS3 owners. A splendidly entertaining game.

RG: is that the same Puzzle Quest that's on the DS, and is basically Bejewelled++: D&D edition*? That's on XBLAH too, which has tempted me, 'cept I think it's 1200 bloody points.

* That's how I've remembered it.

You are entirely correct on all counts. It's digital crack, I tells you; actually flawed in a number of minor ways (the balancing is way off, I did some carefully targetted grinding and literally strolled through the last 1/3rd of the game) but it is just so incredibly compelling once it is under your skin that I was dreaming about aligning groups of coloured gems.

As for pricing, I paid £30 for the DS version and was very satisfied for my purchase, so I would actually suggest 1200 points (which is, what, £12ish?) is a very reasonable sum of money for it. I think it was rather unfairly vilified by a lot of reviewers for its price point.

Anyone got a decent price for a 1tb external USB HD anywhere? There's a WD MyBook on eBuyer for 140, is that a good price?

I got a 1TB WD external on Amazon for about 130. Saw it as low as 124 just after. Here.

I highly rate WD drives. If I hadn't recently bought one, I'd be getting one of those now myself. 1TB WD drive for £124 is a superb barg.

Nope, it's a multiplayer centric FPS, with vehicles and big levels. Based on the demo it's pretty good.

My local Asda was doing Burnout Paradise for the 360 for £25, which seems pretty cheap compared to what it costs online. There were a few other games as well, but I can't remember them (skate was one, although you can get that cheaper on their website and LewieP's post above).
