Shadowrun Returns is £2.74 on Steam today. http://store.steampowered.com/app/234650/

Less cheap but still cheaper than other places: Alien Isolation (Nostromo Edition) is £32 on Steam - it comes with some stuff for Team Fortress, too. http://store.steampowered.com/app/214490/

It might be over by then.

If you're using Chrome, can you install the Hola extension to pretend to be in the UK?

A slightly different humble bundle this week

https://www.humblebundle.com/

Quote:
Big name indie games playable right in your browser! No more plug-ins. No more installers. Pure gaming goodness is now accessible straight from the browser you already use. Pay what you want for full-fledged indie games you can play right now: Super Hexagon, AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome, Osmos, Zen Bound 2 and Dustforce DX. If you pay more than the average price, you'll also get Voxatron and FTL: Faster Than Light Advanced Edition. Those who pay $8 or more will receive all of the above plus Democracy 3. Select soundtracks are available, too!

You still get steam keys for these (if you need them) but once purchased you can launch the game from a browser and play anywhere

Tempting, but I think I'll wait.
I only recently picked up Destiny and should have COD waiting for me when I get home, and there's a lot coming out soon.

There's Ass Crud, Far Cry 4, GTA V and Geometry Wars 3 all due before Christmas :S

I've seen notes in other places about the fact that this month there are just too many games to play , and thats even with a lot of things getting moved back till the start of the year.

Humble Jumbo Bundle

https://www.humblebundle.com/

Quote:
Fee-fi-fo-JUM! We smell the games of a Humble Jumbo Bundle. Pay a lot, or pay a little. We'll give these titles to you to play. That's right! Pay what you want for Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure, Always Sometimes Monsters, and Insurgency (plus extra sharable copies of Insurgency that can net you one free copy of Full Mojo Rampage as a referral reward — read on to find out more!). Beat the average price to also receive Euro Truck Simulator 2, Blackguards, and GRID 2. Pay $12 or more, and you get all of that, plus Saints Row IV.

Give one. Get one. And what’s that about extra copies of Insurgency? Each bundle comes with four copies of Insurgency (one for you and three to share with your friends, family, crushes, etc.). If any of the recipients claim their copy by December 9, 2014, then you get a FREE copy of Full Mojo Rampage on Steam as a referral reward. That’s all you need to do! Just like that, it's all yours!

BTA is about £3.45 at the moment although if you dont have it then its worth paying the extra to get SRiv

Do you have worms, flaky skin and a rash? Then fear not, because ... no, I've lost what I was going to say. But if you click that link you'll see that Humble Bumble is doing Pay What You Wanna for a stack of Worms games.

Oh, and if you Pay What You Wanna you also get Superfrog and the entire Alien Breed Trilogy.

Also, if you pay over the odds you get MOAR Worms games. But with about 5 Worms games being given away then why would you bother; especially with Superfrog and the Alien Breed games.

BUT THERE'S A CATCH! Yes, you get the "new" Alien Breed games which, I can tell you, are a bit shit. So, y'know, take that into account when deciding how much you want to spend. I bet that Superfrog is a bit gash these days an' all, init? Yeah, I guess it probably is. And let's face it, Worms ain't very good either is it? Y'what, you ain't played any since the Amiga games? THEN WHY ARE YOU YOU EVEN EXPRESSING AN OPINION. Because I'm talking to myself. No you ain't. You sound a bit common when you type, do you speak like this in real life? Well, sometimes, init, but y'kinda change your pattern of speech depending on who you are talking to. Don't you do that? Well, certainly, but, if so, WHAT ARE YOU HIDING? WHO ARE YOU? WHO ARE YOU REALLY? Oh, shit, you've caught me out. I have no identity. Me neither but then again ... I. AM. YOU. I think you've had a breakdown. Help me, Obi Wan. Yup. Laters. *eats his fingers off*

Yeah, it bombed out with a message that you can only use it for your first journey. So it either thinks i've already taken a journey (which I haven't) or you can only add it at the time you book your first journey.

Freebies!

Mirror's Edge (PS3), NFS Most Wanted (Vita) and Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare (PS4) are free this weekend only!

You can "buy" all three on the web store regardless of whether you own all the respective consoles.

"Free Amazon credit"

Well sort of and its a pain because it keeps going into and out of stock but if anyone else is interested its worth a try - I have managed to buy and redeem this on my account so it does work but its the type of thing to have a page open on your browser and just flick back to every so often and try again

Sign up to https://www.bespokeoffers.co.uk - its run by Barclaycard and search for 'amazon' - the current direct link is here but it keeps on changing https://www.bespokeoffers.co.uk/consume ... 163ec04489

Add this to your basket and checkout - you pay £5 , and in return you get an Amazon voucher code for £10

Its limited to one per person but it seems that you can simply sign up again with another address and buy them again and again (i have only picked up one but I've seen others posting about picking up multiples)

Check it later today / tomorrow - it will come back in stock - they seem to be releasing them in small groups the offer is on until the 20th so I expect to see more

Yesterday every time i tried it was out of stock - earlier today it was in stock but went out before I finished the check out process and then about an hour ago it went through fine.

Its important to just login and search for amazon (dont follow the link) as the URL for the offer seems to change - FYI if you login and search right now it does not show up at all - i'm sure if i try later it will be back on
